Or because he needs to process what happened. I’m sorry is this your America where someone else does something and you get punished? Is this your America where a BLACK child just visits a scene they had nothing to do with and they go to jail? Of course its your America because you are obviously RACIST. I want YOU to

Every single one of these dudes needs a diarrhea swirly. Every single one.

It’s okay, I also skew pretty misanthropic. The WeWork stations are available to anyone who pays, I think, but the Wing is open only to women (and quite expensive, though diverse).

lmao

I would have mad respect for a dude who called me a “dirty potato digger” based upon the shape and color of my earlobes. That would be pro-tier racism.

I say Grandma Racist is the way to go. You know, just saying really repugnant and hateful shit and then get offended when people call you on it and tell us that is “Just the way I was raised”.

Is there a unit of measurement for racism?

Because facts matter, please allow me to add that almost half of all women murdered in the U.S. are killed by a former or current domestic or relationship partner, 15% of these were pregnant at the time, most of the murders involved guns, and among these Black women are killed at the highest rate. Only 16% of women

TBH, if it had not happened in a school, it would not even have made the news. 20 such cases every day, unfortunately.

Yep, and as he did have access to a gun, he could easily kill her (instead of just jumping from a bridge alone).
Repeal that stupid amendment.

People hate discussing how much violence is the result of male entitlement and how our culture plays into these toxic, rage filled fantasies that turn into all out massacres.

He really does come across as an entitled, young family annihilator, doesn’t he?

I agree but would only add that in many other cases, domestic violence or frustrated attempts to dominate a woman/women are part of the mass killer’s motivations. One more reason why a ping for domestic or relationship violence should immediately disqualify people from legally owning guns.

Sometimes I think men are a lost cause, that is why I wrote women.

Counterpoint- the underlying article is really important if you’re willing to endure the implications that the conflicts and traumas that people experience can have meaningful and negative impacts on their decisions.

I think your point holds for certain situations but not for sexual predators. Plenty of people with all these factors do not prey sexually on the vulnerable, and plenty of people with kind mothers, involved fathers and successful sex lives still become predators. It’s something else.

I would argue the criminal defense system is full of people who have experienced poverty, first and foremost, as there are plenty of abusers who grew up middle class or better and merrily go about their abusive ways because money protects them. Sometimes they even become President!

I’d be more inclined to say a

The old narratives created “rejects” where none existed, as in the example given in the article of how men dominating a family was good, but a woman dominating a family was bad. Any gender seeking to dominate a family is bad, since mutual cooperation is the goal. Women who expressed their input often were considered

Hollywood already has INFINITE amounts of empathy for fucked up dudes and the fucked up shit they do. There isn’t a rejected-dude story it hasn’t dissected and put in a movie or show. Lots of girls are rejected and don’t do this shit.

I believe it is important to look at the whole human story of perpetrators in order to better understand and prevent their acts, and prevent the creation of new perpetrators. That’s not what this article does. Many, many people have controlling or critical or abusive parents and feel like failures - almost none of
