Remember the Grammy’s years ago when the opera singer had to cancel last minute and they asked Aretha to sing her aria? That woman looked at the music and sang the thing technically better than the opera singer with very little, if any rehearsal.

Oh girl, no.

Bad Dad, BAD DAD!

Donald Trump, real life Draco Malfoy.

I enjoyed the dark turn this took.

1. have resting bitch face

As someone who has been called a bitch numerous times by men while committing the unpardonable offense of doing my job, Ms. Autler handled this exactly right. It really gets under their skin when you’re calm or you laugh. I think they expect women to gently weep when called a bitch.

Nothing pisses of a chauvinistic asshole more than being held accountable by a woman. “Screw you! I deserve those fucking picture frames!”

Fun fact: in my experience, many dudes love a chick with control over her Kegels. Squeezing and releasing the penis with active control can have some really cool sensations for them. You can do stuff like squeeze the head, or deliberately release so when you tighten up it suddenly changes sensation, and all that jazz.

Worse than your condescension?

Counterpoint:

As an atheist I would argue that prayers never work, but that's not the fault of the prayer giver and they should be thanked.

Hmm. Maybe I need to talk slowly here.

Why so offended? Its called context. As in “this is the type of squeaky clean person the individual in question is, when he’s not (alledgedly) murdering 13 year olds.” It adds something to the story, a bit of visual information about this guy’s life and his recent place within his community, whereas a mugshot is just,

Both photos are important. Like when they show cops in their uniforms when charged with a crime. While they should show both, side by side, it’s still good to show people that what appear to be otherwise upstanding citizens can be and often are criminals of the highest order.

I thought it was to highlight how people who do these sort of things aren’t mythical monsters from places unknown. They’re neighbors and co-workers and star athletes.

It’s for the irony, and to serve as a reminder the killer can be the boy next door.

You know that picture adds interest to the story? The fact that this man is a star athlete, and well respected makes this story compelling. It’s just the same as if he was a homeless drifter, these details tell the story, add interest, and fill out the details.

Deadspin is a sports website. Makes sense for them to feature the sports tie-in.

He’s human with a life apart from being a sociopath. Maybe you can photoshop a pic of him with horns, 3 eyes and scaly skin
