It’s easy to blame it on pay but some jobs just attract shitty people by their very nature.  ICE ostensibly pays well enough and yet everyone working for them is still a monstrous shitheel.    Hell, the same could be said for local police depts.  Some jobs just attract assholes.

This happens with small minded people all the time. They’ve greatly inflated their self importance despite having a totally arbitrary and mostly useless job function.

I don’t think Harry and Meghan are claiming to do anything but their perception by the media has been pushing that narrative. Losing a child is truly one of the biggest heartbreaks life has. And it’s presumptive (and a bit callus) to think that she will raise the nephew, especially after losing four immediate family members.

Too often black women are told that they do not deserve the adoration that comes with love, that love has to be a struggle, that they should accept anything from any man because they are at the bottom of female desirability. The big cities are very liberal. The inland portions of the state (and Orange County areas) are very conservative. Since there are more people in the big cities, the state always goes liberal.
