I don’t think it’s essential to watch Kingsglaive, but if you do, watch it before you play!

A little something I found and think is worth noting :

I like the English voice acting a lot, actually. Especially the main cast, Luna, and Ardyn.

She uses the last of her power to help the party escape Kefka’s tower. During the ending sequence her dad shows up to tell her that magic and Espers are disappearing from the world, but that her human side will remain if she loves someone enough. She flies alongside the airship until it escapes and then as she loses

I’m not sure why you think that “bringing players back” is important when it isn’t subscription based, has no microtransactions, and no paid dlc. Obviously the goal at this point is to sell the game to new customers who are waiting for it to become a worthwhile purchase.

Well, fuck your backlog honestly. (y)

No doubt one of the reasons Final Fantasy has had so many strong female characters over the years.

Wow, I never realized that the FF development team had so many women in important roles. And that was 20 years ago!

“Little known facts” aka a bunch more reasons that this remains my favorite JRPG of all time. Also, this quote explains one of the reasons I love the game so much: “Tanaka: Because it’s not your typical fantasy setting, so the outset we had to think more carefully about each location, and make sure they felt realistic

Yes! Combat in the final game is exponentially better than it is in Duscae.

Jason. This review is phenomenal. One of the best things Kotaku has ever done. *slow clap*

I was super excited for FF XV, but then I heard that there’s a 1080p 60fps patch coming sometime in December for PS4 Pro users. Now I want to wait until that patch arrives before I play the game. : /

I mean, maybe?

If anything is worse than your Thanksgiving, it’s that remake!

Get outta here with those remake screenshots. Woof.

Can you also give thoughts for someone on the fence who is not a hardcore FF person? Haven’t played one since SNES days.
