Step 1: Create a simple yet addictive mobile game at the perfect time (smart phones becoming a huge thing).

I’ll play it. I mean, of course I will play it, but I’ve always loved the idea of being a tiny person in a world filled with big people.

I have plenty of snark about Dishonored, but now I’m legit asking: Am I the only person who hates this game?

“Putting blizzard on notice” was stupid and pointless. Blizzard went out of their way BEFORE blizzcon to say that they wouldn’t be discussing it there because they weren’t ready yet.

Like the one they just announced.

I didn’t say it wasn’t better than Pay Respects.

I’m going to buy this and drive an hour up to my parents house and use their landline to make the long-distance phone call to Redmond Washington. They’re going to be pissed just like they were 25 years ago.

I frequently hope that some of these games will return to a campaign-first development philosophy. Doom was (is) so damn good, I had hoped it would spawn more long campaign focused FPS. I loved Gears, but it’s so damn short. 5-7 hours for 60 bucks is a hard pill to swallow for people who like FPS but aren’t into

I spent about seven hours in total, doing multiple (but not all) side missions.

What has the internet sent me this time? A buncha rookies by the looks of it. Ya wanna be dangerous pilots and not

I’ve been 100% subs since my youth, but I still have to pour one out for dub fans. I don’t understand why you like it, but you should still have the option to.

based on sales data, you are most likely a majority

That’s a darn shame. I must be the outlier in the anime and gaming fandom that actually really loves English dubs in nearly everything (I can recognize bad voice work, don’t grab your pitchforks yet!) and BlazBlue was no different. The cast really owned their roles! So many favorites in the series, that I’m

I have, and I prefer Active Mode, although as a result I die a lot lol.

I’ve never really watched any anime (other than, like, My Neighbor Totoro) but the stuff I like in JRPGs — the sense of adventure, the feeling of actively exploring new worlds, the strategic battle systems — is pretty specific to video games.

Great bits of info! Jeremy Parish said he was more partial to using the Wait Mode for battles. Have you tried it? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I’m relatively new to this site and to larger games writing. I hope that I develop a reputation for honesty. Plenty of sites can get hyperbolic when talking about games, spewing out one liners that look like the type of shit you see in commercials or GOTY edition boxes.
