There was no cross-team chat. Only the ability to type ‘GG’ which wasn’t super obvious that you could actually do that - as well as emotes as I said.

As long as they prep the game with UI options and penalty systems with leaving, the game will stay consistent like it has been with less toxicity than most MOBA’s. If you didn’t know this, the game started without cross team chat. Not only that but they will most likely never enable it and only use an emote system…

They are not going away anytime soon. Think how long it took for lan phones to go away once cell phones were invented. They will be relevant for a long time.

I’ve been playing PC games for almost 2 decades and I’ve seen PC gaming change more like console too, through controller based port game. One platform for games, Steam. Able to easily put your PC on your tv through streaming.

To be fair, although Japanese developers are developing more on mobile platforms they still are making a console version variants as well. Great example is Square-Enix, FF on mobile but also FF on console. New mana series on mobile, porting to Vita, but also talking openly about making a Mana series on console.

For the average user, setting up streaming is hard. And it is streamed, which means there is a delay, which means certain games are impossible to play with the delay, specifically competitive or high reaction/response games. I don’t think it’s as “easy” as you say to the rest of the world.

I honestly haven’t had an issue with it on ps4, I’ve broken a weapon a few times but nothing extreme or out of the ordinary.

I want to be excited for this and possibly resub but I just can’t get myself to sub again after the previous amount of time required to do anything in that game meaningful.

This is coming in the mail today! I can’t wait! Never played through DK2 so I’m super stoked!
