Try living in Ontario.. Liability insurance only (no fire, theft, act of god, etc due to age of car), I'm 37, clean record, married.. Just got my renewal, 1650/yr. On a 94 Cadillac Fleetwood. And from experience with other people I know here with the same car, first minor claim they will try to total it, at a value of

You say that, but I drive two 94 Cad Fleetwoods.. LT1, auto.. Same that came in the corvette and f-bods of the same vintage (except for iron heads and 30hp or so as a consequence..). At least twice the weight as the corvette at about 4700lbs dry, but a bit after a brief easing off the line (to save the trans) its

My first car was a 1979 Malibu 4 dr I bought in 2005 with 70,000 km on the clock for a song (roughly 1k if I remember correctly). A year later it was leaking everywhere, dropped a valve, and everything made of rubber had to be replaced. Its now a refrigerator or something.

+1 - I drove an 88 Wagon a number of years in the snow with no issues.

Itd be cool if Steve Plunket bought this.. Hr already has one of Johnny Cash's and Bob Hope's (pretty sure).I'd love to see this parked next to them next time I check out his collection

$1M and the screens look aftermarket? Pass..

Anyone have a hi-res of this? I'd love to make it my wallpaper for a while..

Probably this.. For some reason I have a real soft spot for the current XJ

At this rate I'm half expecting there will end up being a recall on my two 94 Cads for some ignition something or other

My boss's 2011 Camaro SS.. Thing puts out close to 800hp last time it was on the dyno. Came up to my desk one day , dropped the keys and said "I know you like it.. Take it for lunch"..

Any rental car.

I'm going to go with a different definition of "amazing" and use it in the sense that it was, arguably, a flight expedition that changed the world forever on August 6th, 1945..

Cool! Now I can out a Martini Livery sticker package on my silver Cadillac Fleetwood!

Not so much car owners as engine owners..

I hear ya - My in-law's fully loaded Santa Fe has more buttons on their steering wheel than I have in my entire 94 Fleetwood. It's insane. And yes, I counted..

For drivers I don't really care - I get used to pretty much every car I drive. Annoying sometimes, but it doesn't take that long.

Absolutely - To me it's really the epitome of a car sticking to its roots so much that it would rather fade into obscurity than try to reinvent itself into something it wasn't as consumer tastes changed.

Easy.. This looks like it should, drives like it should, is as floaty as it looks and as comfortable as it seems. Uses as much gas as you'd expect to boot. Pretty much every assumption made about these things is correct. So I bought another..

For Fleetwoods, it's any Fleetwood. Any year. My 94s are parked by 6th sense. I finally caved and put a backup camera on one of them. Especially since parking spots in toronto are physically too short for the car to fit, so in tight quarters I have to back up within a 1/2 inch of a wall, high curb, or car behind me to

As absurd as it is, I challenge someone to pull their headliner and do a motif of their own.. Fiber optic fillament all run to a central light source , and time, and you could do the same for pennies on the dollar. Would love to see a homebrew version of this..
