That 3 cylinder would make a great go-kart motor..

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, regardless of sanity or other lack of restraint. What we think it's worth is irrelevant. Today somebody may be willing to plonk down $40m. Next week, $60m.. but if a month from now the highest anyone's willing to pay is $2m, then that's what it's worth at that

For windows, the oldest I still use is Winamp 2.95.. Still my favourite mp3 player and best suited for my purposes. That was released in 2003.

There's tons of shoddy ones out there.. but I have a particular aversion to these - usually spotted on rusted clapped out Neons..

I had this happen to me on the commute home just last week. On the highway, moving at a good clip in the fast lane, but middle lane moving faster at that moment for whatever reason. Two cars ahead of me, guy tries to merge right to get into faster traffic. Swipes a car. Gets back in my lane and slams on the brakes,

Any of the older full-size cars from the Big 3.. My personal preferences are the b/d bodies, with my (biased) vote going to this:

I had a similar experience once.. Driving an old 1988 Caprice Wagon (white with woodgrain FTMFW) on a highway here I misjudged a lane change into the left lane and accidentally cut off an F-150. I wave a "sorry", but I guess he didn't care. Gets around on the shoulder, and brake checks me. I back off, and he slows

I'm about to turn down a promotion where I'd use much of the same skill set, but with a lot more politics and stress involved. And from that position, there's no real place up for me to go (small company). Finally, the negligable increase in pay will do nothing to improve my standard of living, and I'd come home to

The Fox Mustang 5.0l.. Even with modified exhausts, I can usually tell when one's around before I see it. Has a unique sound for a V8

This is what I daily drive (well, one just like it). 94 Fleetwood, last of the land yachts, 19ft of greatness.. Looking for a second one to turn into a weekend monster while I slowly bring this one back to factory. There's something about the simplicity in these things that appeal to me.

I don't like it. Not a fan of the exterior or interior styling, or price tag..

For sure, both for same model and same family.. currently looking for both another 94-96 Fleetwood Brougham (I have a much rarer 94 Base I want to keep stock and return to factory fresh, the Bro's getting modded), and a 94-96 Roadmaster or Caprice wagon for general hauling duty.

I get it.. It's not cool, but I get it..

Hands down, has to be the Aztec. Not sure if the grey plastic body cladding made an appearance before, but it's gotta be responsible for the trickle down effect to Avalanches, etc..

It's not just the 25k for tires.. don't forget you also have to replace the rims every 4th tire change, so you've got to take into account 1/4 of the rim cost as an accelerated expenditure coming down the line..

I come from a long line myself.. folks had an 88 Caprice wagon. Later, I had an 88 Wagon too.. When theirs died, they snapped up a 92 Roadmaster wagon... They still have it. I have the Fleetwood.. I've had other cars, like TA's, Mustangs, 94 Supra, Lincolns, etc and for day to day the Fleet or RMW (when I borrow it

Hehe.. I hear you. I wouldn't drive anything else as a daily driver. Absolute bomb, despite the "living with it" impracticalities.. It's why I want a second - mine (not the one in the pic) is a rarer Base (non Brougham) with metal roof. Want to keep it stock. Have ideas for improvement, hence the desire to get a

Here me out.. on the face of it, nothing jumps out as impractical.. but..

Yup - I was once doing plugs through the wheel well, with a jack and a jackstand. As I was reaching for a plug, the hydraulics for the jack failed, car dropped 1/4" onto the stand. After checking to see if I'd soiled my pants, I look down and notice that my ankle was underneath the rotor. Would've sliced my foot right

I found mine through word of mouth (psuedo-wife's father found him), and conveniently it's a 5 minute walk away. I ended up buying my 94 Fleetwood off his lot.
