I mean that was silly but I specifically take issue with how she says her lines. She sounds like she is in an old Twilight Zone episode. I have a feeling she was directed to do that and most likely did not feel comfortable pulling a Harrison Ford who flat our refused to say certain lines or take certain directions.

I don’t personally get the hate regarding Moses Ingram and her character. This is Star Wars for fuck sakes. Almost everything is over the top and overdone. It’s a series about space wizards and space nazis for crying out loud. I think her acting has been good, and the character fits right in with everything else in

And like that’s your opinion man, which you have a right too, I personally have been enjoying it and think Ewan has been great and Moses too. Her character seems to act from a place of insecurity and I think we’ll learn more in the back half, but I’m assuming she was one of the Younglings in the opening scene. I think

Also love to Moses Ingram’s performance as her over the top character, and think anyone who is personally attacking her with racial slurs and epithets are horrible, horrible people.

I’m glad they took the time to get Vader’s voice right. When they brought JEJ back in Rebels to right Ahsoka and even in Rogue One, it they were just so happy to have him back to do the voice they didn’t bother to give him notes and it just sounded off. Its probable they did the voice modulation thing they did with

Gungi!! Is it too much to hope that Gungi is protecting the David Tennant droid?

Apparently $1138 gets you nothing these days :/

Kidding of course

I wonder if they are proud of this technological terror they have created.

501 units... what you did there, see it, I do.

Too many of these serialized shows only have small ideas. I’m enjoying Strange New Worlds specifically because it’s nice seeing a 45min story told in 45min. Both seasons of Picard, on the other hand, felt like they had enough story for a two-hour movies, but instead we got two sets of ten meandering episodes.

there’s a case to be made for a miniseries so have a concise beginning, middle, and end. People complained about the pacing of Mandalorian for whatever reason and keeping things tight in 6 hours is fine by me. I don’t need 15 episodes of Obi Wan doing Tattooine stuff.

I’m hoping that’s a feature.  I’d rather a tight story, than another show padded out to ten episodes when the idea was really only worth one or two.

For what it’s worth, I’m elated about this and have been since it was announced. I promise we’re out there!

Oh Kenobi is only 6 episodes long?

Sure, it’s 12 episodes. But Andor is only in 4 of them and 8 feature the tangential adventures of Din Djarin.

So say some people. I’m a Cassian stan, and liked bringing the harsher, less ‘the writer is on our side’ parts of a long running unbalanced war to the screen.

Yeah I know. You might hear jokes you don’t like!

I listened to a few of them on the audiobook. Then I had to return it to the library and haven’t checked it out since. The story about the cantina band was pretty fun. As was the story about the younger tuskan raiders.
