I watched the Buttfumble live on a Jetblue flight from Newark to Orlando. You could hear a smattering of laughs and groans throughout the cabin as it happened.

I’ve never seen anyone shorten it to Ft. Lee like that. So weird. It’s a town, not an actual fort.

They’ve probably missed so much class time that there’s no way they’ll remain eligible now. I hope they can get back on track with their studies.

I wonder how much Pulisic lost in potential endorsements by the US not qualifying. I’m sure his face would have been everywhere.

I’m not denying that Woody Allen literally left his long-time girlfriend for her much younger adopted daughter and that that’s untoward, it’s just that I found the Allen-Farrow dynamics fascinating in that they were seen as this iconic couple but didn’t even live together. 

Also a reminder that Allen is married to Soon-Yi Previn, 35 years his junior and his adopted stepdaughter

This is not true. She was the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow and André Previn.

Fun fact: Farrow and Allen were never married, nor did they live together.

If this was nothing but the prose, it would be worth reading. Wonderful sense of time and place without any sepia-toned nostalgia.
