The IFO study, bizarrely, seems to advocate for natural gas-powered vehicles as a “transitioning” technology on the way to cars powered by hydrogen, which, sure, I guess, and “‘green’ methane,” a product which does not exist.

SpaceX argued that lower elevation would allow it to cut latency down to 15 milliseconds and cut the total number of satellites by 16 without reducing coverage
Sounds like the workers have some legitimate gripes. If only there was some way those workers can could come together to collectively bargain or negotiate with management the best approach that would work well with their current staff but also meet corporate productivity expectation. If only. If only. I’m totally…
I ordered a $10 shower curtain on Saturday and got it delivered on Sunday (Easter!) which was bizarre on a few levels
Of course Oakland has the toughest schedule, they have sixteen road games.
Jason, I usually like the stuff you write and it’s mostly smart and funny. But lose the profanity. It doesn’t add a single bit of humor, and it’s no longer shocking or edgy. It’s just a crutch for inadequate writing. You’re much better than that.
Good. If they do allow them to do business here they should force them to take on Non Chinese American Citizens as their senior leadership and to produce everything sold in the United States like China does to American Companies
I appreciate pointing out the hypocrisy at play here, but this is a flavor of hot take I’m really fucking tired of. Can a tragedy just be a tragedy? Do we always have to justify our emotional responses to stuff like this by comparing it to other tragedies or excuse it by giving some explicit personal or familial…
i hate to say it, but this thing was a giant tinderbox, and there are probably other places like it in paris
Uhhh....no. It will not usurp the Falcon Heavy or “serve the same purpose.” The Stratolaunch can’t lift the payload that the Falcon is capable. Completely different markets/missions.
The article says that flying 6 people in one flying car is more fuel efficient than if each of those people were driving solo.. well yeah, no fucking duh, but pack all those people into the same car, and the math suddenly changes..
Flying will always use more energy than ground based transportation.
“Luxury car.” Outside of some gimicky tech features, what does the Model 3 offer that puts it on par with cars in the luxury car market? Similar price?
The Model 3 is not a luxury car, and does not belong in the same category as the other cars listed in that graph.
I am a fan of most all racing series. There was a point where I thought F1 was the pinnacle of racing. And then I got older and realised that its a big parade. F1 keeps SUCH a tight hold on the teams/drivers/media/everyone that its like watching a reality TV show. It seems SO manufactured.
Why can’t we compare DRS to P2P? They exist for the exact same reason, and are applied to similar style cars. They attack the same problem, but from different angles.
I feel like I’m the only one who’s just going to go see the movie whenever. Rushing to buy advance tickets to a jam-packed cinema isn’t my thing.
Yeah, that whole part where he made the conscious decision to not take multiple scholarships sort of ruins the heartstrings tugging.
So...he’s got a student loan. Who doesn’t? He was offered scholarships, and turned them down. He made a choice. If he ends up in the NBA I’m sure a $17,000 loan won’t be s problem.
“A shorter working week without loss of pay can help workers stay in work when new technology reduces the number of tasks that need to be done by people...”. Keep paying me for things i don’t do anymore - doesn’t seem to be a viable economic system.
