But narwhal, now is the time to think about union! About how more things unite us than divide us! We have to all come together; us, and the people who said with their votes, as loud and clear as possible, "We don't want anything to do with anyone even slightly different from us"!

Hey, maybe he wanted…because, see, he wanted a "Cabinet" position, and houses…he didn't, houses have cabinets, so he…just, fuck it. Fuck that joke, whatever it was going to be.

Get her something really great to make up for it. Like a robot. A giant robot. Get her a giant robot!
Also, tell her the guy with the pumpkinhead said happy birthday.

I'm starting to think you might have a problem, N. A Silence problem.

You mean, you'll tell your friend to check it out, right?

I would hope more for a miniseries than an ongoing show. Despite the seemingly endless possibilities of the train conceit, I think it would start to get claustrophobic after a while in spite of itself. But yeah, it was fantastically creative and found a distinct voice in record time, so I absolutely hope we get to see

Comment/Username synergy most excellent.

Whelp, since I missed all the fun this comment engendered, I'll go ahead and try to answer the original question.
I'd go with "Rose's Scabbard". I always try to avoid particularly plot-heavy episodes when recommending a taster so as not to ruin the build-up for later, and this one is pretty much in keeping with that.

And now, with the first episodes airing since the announcement that this show that was more than a show is ending, we begin to see it come full circle. "With Jake the dog, and Finn the human." Right from the start, from the theme song itself, Finn is defined as the human, and despite the introduction of those iffys he

The team said no more until next year, because fuck you. We're Cartoon Network: Fuck you.

Eeeeyy, Adventure Time coverage is back! I'll run my mouth there and here once I've actually seen the episode.

I feel like they redeemed themselves a bit with that song they did before the election, with the street-urchin girl who didn't want to vote. "I don't know, they both just seem so terrible; I can't tell which one is worse…" Both: "HE'S WORSE."

Maybe Steve Bannon is actually Count Olaf in disguise, and this whole election was all a typically elaborate Snicket-style marketing campaign to promote Netflix's show. Everyone will be unmasked: Trump is clearly the hook-handed man (Hands that small have to be fake), Omarosa and Kellyanne Conway are the women with

You know, if this was a movie, I would accuse the writer of making their villains too shallowly evil. I'd say "Come on, dude, fiction 101: nobody thinks they're the bad guy. Everyone thinks they're working for a greater good. Or, even if they don't, they pretend like they do, especially in this sort of story in which

Dude, the trailer was SO good. They're leaning a bit more towards Wes Anderson than the film did, which is fine by me since the film leaned towards Tim Burton, who, unlike Anderson, doesn't actually care about characters and themes and such.
And NPH is totally killing it. He's been saying in interviews that he's

I'm the same way. Several members of my family love it, so I've seen lots of full episodes and bits of episodes over the years, from various points in the show in various orders. But almost every bit I've seen was wonderful, so I suppose I should go through it properly at some point.

We've been getting a few more bits and pieces from A Series Of Unfortunate Events, apparently leading up to a full trailer to be released tomorrow. I'm getting more and more excited; NPH is nailing Count Olaf in every line and shot, the rest of the cast all seem to be doing very well, the visual aesthetic is an

Resolved; turns out it was the intro to "Imagine". I guess I fail the music snob test if I couldn't guess that for like five hours.

I have had part of a song stuck in my head all day, and I have been unable to figure out what song it's from. I'm pretty on edge right now.

That new Mitski album was wonderful, Stranger Things was awesome, cartoons have been gangbusters between Adventure Time's seventh season and the Stevennuke, Kubo and the Two Strings set a new gold standard for stop-motion…
I'm only naming pop culture-related things. Uh, I learned how to use an Espresso machine. That's
