Hey, that's one of my favorite books. Any thoughts upon completion?

Yep.
I'm not too bummed, actually. I was surprised when they announced there would be a ninth season. A lot of the major plotlines are either coming to a head or have been resolved, and Finn's over-arching "Becoming a man" arc is almost through. Two more seasons sounds perfect; it gives them enough time to close out

Fair enough; never watched the show myself, so I'm not one to call it. Even if it's fantastic, it's still obviously less ambitious than Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Over The Garden Wall. Maybe there's a case to be made that Disney might overtake CN in the coming years: once Adventure Time is gone, the only

Eh, Steven Universe has a good four seasons or so left in the tank. And I keep hearing Clarence is great. And who knows what shows they'll pick up in the future. The golden age ain't over yet.

Pussies; no stomach for the arts.

As a non-furrie, I was made very, VERY uncomfortable by how attractive I found Judy Hops. She's so small and adorable, but also so badass and in charge…there was some kind of brain-center overload. I have serious questions about myself right now.

You should watch it every week and post about it in the "How Was Your Pop Culture Weekend?" comments sections. Something short and simple; along the lines of "Lethal Weapon again."

Who's got two thumbs and a dad who works at Barnes & Nobel who got him an advance copy of Springsteen's book? This guy! Initial impressions to follow.

I think ASOUE is set to air early next year. I know filming is over; NPH bought everybody Italian Ice or something the last shooting day.

Well, we're in the final stretch. The debates have started, they look to be just as ridiculous and near-unwatchable as we feared, but they mean the end is near. It'll be painful, but some of it might be somewhat funny. Less than a week after Doctor Strange comes out, this nightmare will be over. A new one might begin

Seeing Built To Spill tomorrow at the Georgia Theatre; crazy excited.

Shaun of the Dead. Easy. Also, iZombie is pretty great.

Oh shit, I forgot another one: B:tAs is classic, but while the animation in the Justice League intro is slightly dated, the music is some of the greatest theme music ever written, and is a useful thing to play for anyone who needs a simple explanation of the appeal of superhero stories.

Runner up: Wander Over Yonder; if the ideal intro is one which completely encapsulates everything the show is, this one comes pretty damn close: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Good call on Gravity Falls, although I'm even more fond of the two slower versions of the song in the final moments of each season finale. I'm not even sure I fully appreciated how great the show was until I heard the second one on its own; the way the show depicted the world as a place of darkness and adventure,

I find it amusing that the one time I gave a grown-up, live-action answer to a television group question, the next two answers were both cartoons.

Good ol' fashioned round-the-table group topic that's probably been done here a few dozen times already: favorite TV show intro.
I may revise my choice once I've lived through the Bojack Horseman theme a few more times, but my choice has always been The Office; the original. It's the one part of the show where the

And for the record, the one I did for her is John Keating, Jo March, and Ben Cash from Captain Fantastic.

I'll go with Brendan Frye from Brick, Harold Chasen from Harold and Maude, and Jonathan Strange from Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.

Maybe.
