I don't, but surely if it was the future of basketball, then we're living in it now, right?

I'm assuming they were waiting for one of those once-in-a-millennium planetary alignments which would have otherwise destroyed the world.

So, uh, it's my birthday. And guess what, my frontal lobe isn't developed enough to even make a joke about how I'm "One year closer to the grave". I don't even feel my own mortality at all, motherfuckers! I'm gonna live forever, just like every other teenager has! Suck on that, windbags!

Listening to Missing Chairs for the first time right now; I think this album is partially responsible for almost every eighties album I love.

Well cool. I'll have to catch them sometime. I absolutely adore those first two albums, but always thought that their recent reunion shows probably weren't a lot of fun; I'm happy that appears not to be the case.

How's Verlaine's voice doing? I remember getting the impression from some recent live footage I saw that it was kinda shot. Like, even more than it was in the beginning.

I'm right about most of the first season, and I'll be right about all of
the first season any day now when I run out of children's shows to
catch up on.

Nice! Let me know if they do that cover of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" they used to do.

We're on, what, round 4 of that now?

Mr. Dalliard, I've begun to talk drivel now!

One week on, and as promised, more thoughts on Kubo and the Two Strings.

There's a Fry & Laurie sketch in which Stephen Fry plays the host of a Twilight Zone-style anthology series and is named "Gelliant Gutfright"; that's pretty great. He also ends the episode by saying "Good night…if you can."

I don't like to think I'm the Rebecca Bunch of this comments section, but I probably am. Such is the way of the world.

I think my favorite thing is that the artist is named "Art". I mean, that's creativity.

I don't watch that show, but I think you stopped typing out the title before you were finished.

The consensus around SS seems to be that it wasn't very good, but at least didn't take itself so globdamn seriously the way its two predecessors did.

Well, since Sardonyx already has a voice, we've probably missed the best opportunity for Janelle Monae to put in an appearance. So, maybe Kristen Schaal?

Wait, I just realized: Steven can fuse with human beings…which means he can fuse with Greg. I wanna see that, if only for the giant weaponized electric guitar I assume the result would weild. Hey, having FLCL under my belt is paying off already!

I'm just waiting for Peridot to fuse with somebody.
