I don't know what nineties kid is astral projecting and just passed through my body, but for some reason the word which leaped to mind upon first viewing the new Doctor Strange trailer was "Kickin'".

So, am I going insane or did the first look at Justice League look kinda good?

I'm extremely partial to Tom Waits' "Mr. Nick" from The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. "Yerrrr…probably…not a betting mannn, are yeh?"

I vote for Local Hero. Brilliant film.

I remember telling my dad about the cast of Netflix's A Series Of Unfortunate Events, and I had to remind him who Patrick Warburton was. When he remembered, he said "Oh yeah, that guy. He played The Tick. You know, I always thought of him as basically the American equivalent of Peter Serafinowicz." That's a really,

I don't live in NYC, but I've seen a few documentaries about the exact area you're staying at, and I would advise you to watch out for bald crime bosses and British dudes who can use mind-control.

Yesterday, I randomly clicked on "Only A Memory" on YouTube, which I had never heard before. Today, I've listened to it three times. I just listened to "House That I Used To Live In". Guys, I think I might be in love with The Smithereens. Send help.

Not as witty, no, but just about as intellectual. I post over there as "Magusmirificus"; look out for me.

Eh, fair enough. I figure if Teller survived Fan4stic then he can survive anything, but it would be a shame to lose some real talent just because a stupid franchise started getting treated like one.

Thoughts on the first episode of Stranger Things:
Oooh, this is gonna be fun. It's funny; I've been rewatching some Gravity Falls lately, and wishing for something new to scratch that particular itch. GF had a wonderful mix of quirky humor and genuine, childish heart, combined with legitimate creepiness and a terrific

So, most likely, the actual republican nominee for leader of the country is Mike Pence. This year just gets better and better.

I was rewatching some of Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated with a kid I was babysitting, and there was a wonderful joke I forgot about: "That's odd. Who would be playing a pan flute? At this hour?"

Reince Priebus will campaign/Huffing paint to ease the pain/And Paul Ryan will be cryin', while Ben Carson juggles brains/Ted Cruz is drinking whiskey/No one's sitting with Chris Christie/And Mitt Romney bungees in to say "Does anybody miss me?"

I have elected to refrain from watching any of the new Steven Universe episodes until the end of the month and then marathon them. I haven't gotten to watch a lot of SU at once since catching up with the show over a year ago; I miss it. I'll share my thoughts then.

He did one for "Daddy-Daughter Card Wars"; I guess he had shit to do when "The Music Hole" aired. It's happened before, I think he sat out "Dark Purple".

Awesome! I'll start watching and maybe post some ep-by-ep thoughts on here. It sounds like if the miniseries adaptation of "IT" wasn't so flawed, which is an alternate timeline I've always wanted to visit, so, kudos to those dude who made this.
