I'm not a Nolan hater, but I still think this is his best film, and I've seen all of them except Interstellar. It's the insanely suspenseful high-concept unrelenting atmospheric thriller he was always trying to make, and continues to try to make.

If he can muster up a convincing American accent, Dylan Moran. I look a bit like him, at least with my facial structure and hair style, and his awkward-yet-manic physical mannerisms and zealous passion over trivial nothings would certainly not go to waste.

What music DO you like, Mr. Fuller? Because you've commented to this effect on every music-related article of the past few days.

I never know how to feel about situations like this. Do I applaud the masses for being able to overlook someone's personality in order to focus on their songs, indicating that they really are more invested in the music than the image? Or do I weep for a people whose taste has gone so far down the gutter that they are

For me they're hit and miss. The clipless and really sketch-heavy episodes blow, but the more back-to-basics, Mystery Science Theater 3000-style riffing can still be very amusing. Mr Walker's style of sketch-writing, which you can basically sum up as "Characters from the movie he's riffing saying how they're being

During the credits, there's a picture of a tree, with hearts carved into it around "Mabel +" and each of her summer crushes. They're all crossed out, except one at the bottom which reads "Mabel + Abel". Hirsch hid the important info in obscure crannies till the very end.

So long, Gravity Falls. See you next summer, and the one after that, and every summer afterwards as all the kids whose childhoods you made grow up and show you to their kids. Like all the best make-believe, you have come to an end for now, but as long as fun and adventure are still in demand from small, wonder-filled

A family picture.

"I think I'm dark and tortured for reals now."

You're gonna carry that weight.

So, there are all these studies that say that we make up our minds about people within seconds of first seeing them, and how elected officials can be predicted based on how symmetrical their face is, and that in general we decide whether we trust somebody based mostly on their appearance.
So, bearing that in mind, why

I'm disappointed to learn that "CZ" stands for "Community Zone". I assumed it stood for "Community Zeitgeist".

Even if that particular part works, the movie as a whole doesn't have a chance. At best—at BEST—it'll be a collection of too many good things. Even if they fix Superman's characterization, even if Luthor doesn't turn out to be totally ridiculous, even if Doomsday is actually threatening, even if they don't make Wonder

Blasphemy. Everybody knows Velma was the hot one.

Well, yeah, it's pretty obvious that's going to be his arc in the movie. I just think that it's a silly, overdramatic way of handling the distrust that Batman certainly would feel when Superman first showed up. Actually, it probably reflects poorer for me on this universe's version of Superman, that Batman's first

Yeah, but he doesn't just decide "Alfred knows my secret identity and has access to all my equipment. If there is even a .0001% chance that he's actually an evil robot, that means I must assume he is, and neutralize him immediately. "

See, that right there is the biggest misreading of Batman's character to me. However slow to trust anybody he may be, that's not who he is. If it was, he'd be flying around the world kidnapping the leaders of every country with nukes and destroying their governments. Also, he would never work with anyone ever. Alfred,

See, this is such a difficult debate to have because I agree with nearly everything you've actually said, just not the intention it was meant with. I agree that Gumball is more visually innovative than Adventure Time. I just think that Adventure Time's approach to storytelling in general is so unique that it deserves

No, he could walk down any street and girls could not resist his stare. Pablo Picasso never got called asshole. Not like you.

"Woven Birds" was always a favorite of mine. Those lyrics are really haunting.
