What the fuck is Spring Breakers doing as the official picture for this article? Thankfully, only one critic is awful enough to cite it as one of the year's best but it's still a terrible year for movies when that thing ends up on a best list.

Ben Kenigsberg gets an F for including Spring Breakers in that list. Korine has been doing the same "everyone is an asshole" films since Kids and this movie's only quality is in doing the neat trick of making Real World Cancun seem like high art in comparison.

I think that the interpretation that they got over each other and that the song is just there to remind us that they once felt that way is the better one. I guess I just like the idea of people moving on with their lives and getting over the passions that only gum them up.

it was an artistic accomplishment. Too bad no one watched it in the ratings (and at a certain point the actors were de-emphasizing the religious aspect by promoting it as an alternate history show where America has a king.)

Wrong. Alien 3 is the best in the series. And killing off Newt was an awesome move.
