I've read some painfully dumb things she's said over the years. Like, I'm not going to re-subject myself to the sheer stupidity, but I think it was the Jesus predates everything schtick. I've known lots of people who were deeply religious/lacked educational privilege who weren't that dumb and/or ignorant.

I mean, better isn't really saying much. At the end of the day bigotry is bigotry. I'm marginally less offended when someone jokes about me being cheap (I'm Jewish) than when they make jokes about my facial features, but at the end of the day you don't get any points from me for being "less" anti-Semitic. I imagine

I personally am a hopeless romantic, but, do you know how much money the Spitzer family has? Lots. Very wealthy, very well-connected.

Yeah, I can see how it's relevant for a PR person. It does show questionable judgment. I dunno, I guess I was expecting better from the de Blasio administration. I know he's new, but I'm not sure it was necessary to throw her under the bus.

What if you're dating Hitler?? Stalin? A muslin? Are you a Communist? A turrist? Why do you hate America?

It's not about him. But I'm so glad Spitzer lost the Comptroller election. I'll never forgive him for saddling us with an unprepared Governor after just one year. Christ, good riddance.

I definitely think Bush the Lesser was hamming it up. Nuke-u-lar? From a Yale graduate's mouth?

Well, that's not accurate. Whoever wins the Democratic nomination in 2016 is who we've got. The media circus has already begun-with an outgoing second term President we've got a looooooong primary ahead of us on both sides.

And I agree on the foregone conclusion bit. As long as the party lines up behind their guy/gal at the end of it, competitive primaries are always good.

I would like to see a female president, but I would also like to see someone more liberal than H. That's why I'd like Warren (although I think she's more valuable to liberals staying in the Senate for another 10 odd years)-more liberal, but she's also a woman so Hillary Clinton doesn't have the historic edge over her.

Off the top of my head: former Montana Governor, can't even remember his game. Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley. Warren says she's not running but she's mentioned. Gillibrand is also mentioned. Biden'll probably try to run, he is the VP after all, Cheney was sort of the anomaly in not running. Sherrod Brown's name's

One man, saving the world by fucking. I liked him until a friend of mine who met him said he's a douche.

Oh yeah. A lot of people don't think much of action movies, but they're a lot of work. By all accounts Tom Cruise takes his training (physical training and stunt training) very seriously.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but one important difference between mathematics and english or history is money. For math, you need a chalkboard, chalk, and maybe some textbooks. You can theoretically teach programming with only a book, but to do it right you'd need some capital investment for computer

He's weird as hell but is apparently a consummate professional and really easy to work with. There are so many prima donnas in Hollywood that that's super important.
