My mother raised my sister and I with the notion that I was the “pretty” one and should use my looks to land a rich husband and my sister was the “smart” one and should pursue a hardcore career despite her obvious creative talents. It was a somewhat Hiltonian way of raising us. It obviously screwed both of us because

I am not, nor have I even been likable.

This guy is seriously one of the biggest fucking pieces of shit in the world. I don’t know how in the fuck he sleeps at night. Can’t wait for the day that karma comes for him.

I knew it was Turd Johnson immediately. What a dick. I hope Josie’s attorney files a civil suit.

Is that too many? Eight in 24 hours is the pre-determined, objective amount of stories on trans issues that officially puts you over the edge? Do you have a link to support that statement?

I attended a seminar led by a trans man and trans woman about mental health issues (I’m a psychology researcher). The issue of cis beauty standards really stuck with me- the idea that while some transgender choose to embrace cisnormative appearance, not all can or want to. I’ve seen a good number online articles on

Be beautiful. Don’t be too beautiful.

Yeah, in some ways I feel odd about how physically-rooted a lot of the praise is “omg she looks great just like (insert cis woman here)!” I’m sure some if it is genuine (Caitlyn is beautiful! she is! I’m glad people are saying so! and the public support for her is great. And I know that a surgical transition puts

Yes. It was a moving and profound statement. I’ve always been, well, jealous (?) of Cox's incredible presence and beauty but I never examined the reality that we place the same beauty standards on trans folks that we do on cis folks and thereby exclude so many from acceptance and inclusion.

Now, there are many trans folks because of genetics and/or lack of material access who will never be able to embody these standards.

But what I think they meant is that in certain lighting, at certain angles I am able to embody certain cisnormative beauty standards.”

“I’m not doing this to be interesting. I’m doing this to live.”

Pausing for a second to contemplate the fact that TMZ’s hardball tactics could have led to Jenner’s suicide. This is not fun and games, this is dangerous stuff. I’m glad she made it through, and I join to chorus of congratulations.

Can you imagine what conservatives, Duggar fans, foxnews watchers, etc would say if there was a show about a black family with 19+ kids & one of them was a child molester? Can you imagine how fucking insane they would be right now?

Like most conservatives, her views become liberal once the issue actually affects her. So, if she or a close relative/friend was molested as a child, she’ll probably rake them over the coals. If she has no experience with it then she’ll welcome them with open arms.

True; even a blind dog will occasionally locate its own asshole.

I’m sure Megyn will have some tough questions for them like “how are you and the kids doing? It can’t be easy being so gleefully attacked by the liberal media and the gay extremists.”

Megyn Kelly’s been all right recently, so hopefully, she’ll sort of call them out on the asking-for-forgiveness-but-covering-it-up-anyways crap that they pulled.

Off off with their heads.
