Sephiroth was a sled!
Sephiroth was a sled!
Maybe it’s just me but I can’t help but feel like most of this reaction (not here specifically but just in general) is that the people many thought were heroes were actually the people they openly said they were, rulers who wanted to sit on a throne no matter the cost.
But there is a logic to it. Plenty of civilians have died in the past needlessly because of her terrible ability to rule without advise. This is someone who’s had people crucified and burnt alive for tenuous reasons that she considered “justice”.
Were you not watching in all the incidents before this where she did bad things in service to trying to get to the Iron Throne, including brother-cide/usurpation of the true heir, Crucifixions, burnings of innocents, pillaging with the Dothraki, sacking three whole cities, freeing slaves but not helping them,…
They were waaaaaay ahead of your suggestion buddy, unfortunately. That ship has sailed.
Pretty much this. Like, it’s one thing that it happened.
Thank you, Time!
I’ve watched Projared’s Lets Plays pretty much since he started doing them. Honestly heartbroken to see this. Literally the night before this came out, I remarked to my girlfriend that Jared was the most pure youtuber we followed. Whoops.
I feel really bad for Ross since he seemed to be a nice guy from what I got from the game grumps. I’m sure Ross feels very betrayed. I was completely unaware of Jared’s actions which I guess would relate with the very sparse content he is releasing. I just unsubscribe to his channel after hearing this.
Wow. I’d been a ProJared subscriber for a long time, and I have to say while this is pretty shocking, there’s always been a bit of an odd vibe around Jared himself
this is an incel free space. move along.
Ugh... I actually feel less clean having read that.
Glad I’ve finally found a main after 4 months of sadly bouncing between idiots trying to find something to stick! The important chunks of Robin’s moveset fused with Marth-ish swordplay, and a pretty solid tank ability is all I’ve been looking for, tbh. And it’s Joker, to boot, which is just icing on the cake!
I do it just to irritate folks with post histories like yours—as it’s almost exclusively the “defend my right to be an asshole” types who feel the need to tone police others. ;)
Yes. Perspectives that are shared amongst a wide group of people are called mores, which is what I am describing here.
You know what else someone should be able to do in a free society?
Because, depending on the reason, killing another human can be seen as a righteous and celebrated act, or at least a necessary evil. When we see something in media deviate from those ‘appropriate’ killings, such as in GTA like you describe, it feels like less of a deviant act than something has just about no…
Having boundaries doesn’t mean there’s a thought police out to get you.
It’s incredibly common for drive-by shooters to accidentally shoot a random building instead of the one they meant to target and often kill innocent people.
