The Hydropolis theme is literally the only track in the game that wasn’t driving me insane as it looped. I can honestly listen to it for long periods without a single issue, unlike, say, the battle music.

Twitch isn’t just for games anymore. Times, and services, change.

Exile III is still the best. That might admittedly be nostalgia for a large part as the Exile trilogy was massively important to me during a formative age, but I liked the sprites and references more that got sorta...phased out in Avernum. Also unlike the newest remakes of that trilogy you can close doors.

I’m going to be getting this and all soon, but I’m also going to keep sacrificing goats until I get another good Suikoden game. Or even a half decent one. Given Konami, I may run out of access to goats before this happens, but I have to try.

This is viscerally upsetting to me, and I don’t understand why.

I respectfully disagree. Coming back to it actually made me feel more disappointed in its own way, though its better than where the game was, it still just feels trite and hollow. Glad some people are liking it now though. 

I really wish I could feel anything towards this game again other than mildly lingering regret. I tried with the first content update and just felt nothing towards the idea of playing it again. I hope they continue the patches though and it makes at least some of the formerly overly angry people happier.

Eventually you will get over it, and realize people enjoying something in a way that is different from you doesnt alter your ability to enjoy a game. I promise.
