Minis are terrific. Fun, compact, economic, go-cart like cars. Are they way bigger than they used to be? Yea, that's sadly how the world works these days. I drive it aggressively and still get 28 mpg on average.

Just those exhaust pipes annoy the crap out of me. I want to shake them and yell "YOU ARE NOT A PETERBILT, YOU TOOK AWAY UTILITY OF YOUR UTILITY VEHICLE TO PRETEND"
Did this have anything to do with a demo where you killed zombie mobsters in a theater?
Given that they've sold every single one they have made, I'd say its value is at least $1.7MM.
I would LOVE a start switch rather than a button. I think you are right, since the button is currently on the piece of plastic between the center console and the steering wheel, and you can clearly see no button... Or even a place to put the key??
What sunglasses would you deem OK for regular wear if we don't want to revel in aviation history before leaving the house?
A nice, informative, and sensible response.. If we give weight to this idea and take supercar status away and call a 458 a sports car.. Then what in the world is a Toyobaru, Miata, an M3? I am just fine with calling such a luxuriously purpose-built carbon fiber 2 seater with barely room for a messenger bag a supercar.
After learning that my Cooper S can twin baby, I'm pretty convinced that anything but a pure two seater can baby. Putting a kid in a car seat from the front in a 2 door is SOOO much better than from the side in a 4 door car (Car is the really important word in that sentence).
Late reply, but exactly! It also adds complications to a fleet lineup. Buying and servicing a range of like vehicles is easier on companies. Very few large companies will go through the trouble to order bulk trucks from Toyota AND Ford. Surely Toyota knows this but really just wants to focus on the consumers with…
I work for a company that provisions both Tundras and 250's and 350's to the field. We do so because we like Toyota's more than Fords, but Toyota's don't do a very good job at hauling a 30,000 lb backhoe. A lot of our 'real work' involves things the Tundras just can't do.
I like it.

I'm pretty sure the target demo already has a MP4 or two
I was in the same boat until I read your other replies. And now I know what to call this dreadful comment system.
