There are some great last gen E Class wagon on the used market. Go for a 2007+ and you can't go wrong.

The Lexus IS-F, it has a great engine, they have made tremendous progress since the first years by adding a LSD and tweaking the suspension, so now it does put it's power to the ground, and the tranny is wicked fast, but it does lack a third pedal.

We are all waiting for this
