I used to get it, but then 13 Hours happened and now I don’t get it anymore. He’s just so..meh.

Cute, but why the Benghazi! movie???
He did a movie with Michael Bay.
So adorable (and I’m so disappointed that he chose to do 13 Hours).
In my mind it was Halpert that was tricked into doing 13 Hours because he thought it was another Threat Level Midnight.
Waiting for Sanders’ supporters to call this a craven political move like they always do when Hillary changes her mind. I’m betting I’ll be waiting a long time.
“cite a politician’s response to public opinion as a flaw.”
Literally is supposed to be THEIR JOB, representing the PEOPLE, *not* the lobbyist corporate donors.
Look, I’m with you. I agree! What’s infuriating is that some* Sanders supporters constantly ask for the benefit of the doubt when they never give it to Hillary. Bernie wants to change his mind on gun control? Great. He gets to be high minded and flexible. Hillary changes her mind on Keystone? She’s craven, or…
Cue all the sanders pandering comments. Jk jk, such criticism is only for Hillary.
Meanwhile, on things the President can/will do, such as how to fight ISIS, Sanders has been virtually silent.
She will be shrewd and realistic. Sanders is likely to just start screaming “Revolution! Revolution!”, grab the speaker’s gavel and start hitting people until the Secret Service tackles him. Hillary knows this is a war. Sanders, like early Obama, believes he can just talk nice and appeal to a non-existent better…
Getting single-payer healthcare passed would’ve been vastly more difficult, as there would’ve been massive opposition from both the Republicans and insurers. Getting a system like that in the U.S. will take decades, or never happen at all.
I actually think her ideas ARE good, though. Obamacare does need improvement in terms of keeping premiums down and improving the quality of the plans. Single payer would be better, but it’s impossible. So I’d rather have a goal of targeted improvements to the existing system. I actually straight up prefer Hillary’s…
When Bill and Hill were in charge, they won all the ‘yes, we can change healthcare, feel good’ vibes during their town meetings. They then proceeded to do shit about the Industry.
Sanders hasn’t released the tax plan because it would involve raising middle class tax rates, and I think he’s trying to get out in front of that issue by doing a round of press on how rising tax rates wouldn’t be so bad if people didn’t have to pay healthcare premiums. The problem is, for anyone with…
serious, non-hostile question: do you have data/sources that suggest he’d help us win back the house? I was counting on Hillary in a few districts for seats where she might be able to poll above Reps but have never heard anyone say sanders would bring back the house. And I agree, it is a ludicrous idea to just…
As someone with formal training, West Wing is still a happy-go-lucky fantasy to me. VEEP is sadly more of my experience with elected officials. And a bit of House of Cards, with less direct murder.
I had a conversation with some Sanders fans friends at a party last week and asked them, straight up, whether they would vote for Sanders while also thinking he could deliver and they said, “No”. I then asked them why they wouldn’t compromise with a candidate who might be able to find middle ground and they said, “I…
Oh, so you are concerned with who can produce results and not who can sing the best song? Well prepare for a barrage of insults from Bernie supporters who validate themselves because they are “passionate” and you are “cynical.”
lmao it’s like watch one episode of The West Wing and you see this isn’t even something one needs formal training to understand.
