Sooooo where's my true blood recap?
Sooooo where's my true blood recap?
I'd just like to have Loki in all movies, perhaps just hanging out in one corner of the screen, so that he can jazz things up a little when they're getting slow —Or... or..
I think most people were expecting a wacky comedy, when it's really kind of a memoriam for video stores and analog culture in general.
This is the only RoboCop remake I need to see.
Loki doesn't have to be the villain in every movie; he just has to be IN every movie. Preferably making clever quips.
I assumed this new timeline is actually the "original" timeline, and then in Escape, when Cornelius and Zira travel back through time, they're altering the timeline.
Where is this week's recap?! Comicon Schmoicon! It's been TWO DAYS! Or is it in there but seeing as io9 is ridiculous to properly navigate, maybe it's there and I think you should provide me with the link :P Don't leave a girl hanging!
Sharkwizard?
The 90s version was a different thing though in that it really wasn't remaking or copying previous mummy movies. If anything, it was copying Indiana Jones. Unless they're willing to go in another completely different direction again it will just be a lame 90s rehash.
Nobody wants a new Mummy movie. What they should've done instead of the third sequel with Brendan Fraser, and instead of the Scorpion King movies, each worse than the previous, was made a movie about the Medjai and Ardeth Bay, protecting sacred artefacts across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
You know what's completely unnecessary? The Mummy reboot. Well, I'm sure people said the same about the '90s reboot, but it was just so fun. I don't think you could make a more enjoyable movie with ancient mummies and curses. Certainly not without Rachel Weisz, Brendan Fraser, and John Hannah. Osiris forgive us if it…
When I first saw this picture, I though the camera was some kind of cybernetic suit and his right shoulder was now mounted with a camera. For the life of me, I couldn't remember a character like this in the TMNT universe! LOL
I'm still pissed they cancelled Danny Phantom. Did they ever have any followup movies/specials for Danny?
This brings to mind the scene from Family Guy in which Wonder Woman is going to the bathroom in her invisible plane when Superman flies up beside her.
I was just scrolling through to see if someone had pointed that out. The previous Quarter Quell was Hamish's and in that one they had twice the amount of Tributes, and this one is supposedly a way to rid themselves of Katniss.
No, a Quarter Quell is a special celebration every 25 years, and in Catching Fire it happens to be played all living with past winners. That's not an automatic condition of a Quarter Quell.
A small correction- Hunger games is not played with past victors every 25 years. Something special happens in every 25th anniversary and in the 75'th, it is making the victors play. It is kind of a spoiler for those who hadn't read the books.
Am I the only one who thought it was weird that they suddenly cut to Lafayette putting a tied-up Sookie in the trunk? Did Sookie let Lafayette tie her up? Because I feel like she could have put up at least some kind of fight or run away or something.
High on the list of True Blood spinoffs I would watch is "Pam and Lafayette Bitch About Everyone." Just sit around and point out how stupid all the rest of the characters are. It'd be brilliant.
Who says Beckett has to be out of shape and fighting form just because he was out of a Jaeger? Maybe the dude was THAT good to begin with. And besides, he beat every candidate who was deemed 'compatible with him', not every active Jaeger pilot available. Some of those guys he didn't fight could very well be better…
