I read a WV newspaper the other day about how detrimental it would be if the ARC was eliminated. It then explained how funds from the department were used to create infrastructure in the state where there was none. There was a guy in the comments who, I kid you not, said, “Good, we don’t need federal money anymore.”

Yup. I assumed I was a non-denominational Christian, but since all this nonsense started, I’ve done more research and decided that I am a deist. The fact that I took a survey the other day and saw Evangelical listed under non-denomination was enough to confirm it.

Right?! They are always using the good book to enforce their beliefs, but heaven forbid you use the same book to prove why THEY are wrong. The books says don’t judge. There’s an entire section on it and yet that’s all they do all day, everyday!

My roommate were having a discussion about this. I kind of wish we had tax buckets that allowed you to choose where the majority of your money should be spent. Obviously Medicaid, Medicare and social are a given, but I would love to give education, job training and the environment a higher percentage value.
