Of course they featured about 0 articles of clothing. The Body Issue is the celebration of the human athletic form. It features athletes doing athletic things in the nude, not topless models writhing on a beach pulling their bikini bottoms down while giving bedroom eyes to the camera.

“It makes sense that ESPN would demand that players don’t use the super-revealing skins, but I’m with Maddy in feeling that it’s a bit hypocritical of ESPN, whose magazine is carried by the sales of their Swimsuit edition and who also has no qualms over women’s beach volleyball, to be upset by a character wearing a

I agree with this. Bachelor in Paradise is a campy stupid show and the producers know it, it’s how it’s marketed. I’m not sure how else they were supposed to address it, considering: 1) it wasn’t just the internal team that said no misconduct occurred, Corinne’s own “team” also said the same thing (if I’m remembering

Professional golf, not the shit that Trump does every weekend or I try to do whenever I can find a few bucks to go on the local muni course.

It’s absolutely golf. A competitive round of golf is usually 5 hours, with 99.9% of that being downtime where all you have are your thoughts. Add in spectators 10 yards from where you’re aiming, tv cameras, and all the randomness of the game itself, it’s maddening. Watch any major and see the best in the world

LeBron wants control. The entire point of returning to Cleveland in the first place was because he knew he could dictate what he wanted to the organization and they would follow suit. He’s basically been the armchair GM since his return with his demands to trade for supporting cast and fire David Blatt.

Lebron doesn’t care about anything besides Lebron, and that’s one of the reasons he’s always been so controversial. He wants top-billing and max pay, but also wants another 2-3 superstars on the team who should also be paid top dollar (just less than his)... then when things don’t work out, he’s ready to throw out

British Hero Andy Murray when he wins.
Scottish failure Andy Murray when he loses.

“Regardless of the Serb’s run, he’ll continue to face steady threats from Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.” Err, no he won’t. Nadal is out.

Should we not talk about the #1 player in the world losing? Especially to an American?

This may shock you, but sports are played all around the world.

Giri covers tennis and a Brit happens to be number one in the world in the biggest tennis tournament of the year. So there’s some confirmation bias from you. Also, he’s avoiding his fave to avoid jinxing the GOAT.

So is Serena Williams now No. 699 in the world rankings?

Ah yes, because we all know that it was IMPOSSIBLE to understand anything that Divya Katdare said on Royal Pains

Re: Everyone saying “People watch this show?!” About six million or so do. Get outside your bubble folks, just because it’s not in your zeitgeist doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or isn’t popular to people unlike you :)

this. I’m no Will Smith fan, but saying he isn’t talented is just outright dumb. Dude made his money early and now jumps in if a big paycheck is involved.

...Will Smith spent about 18 years showing that he’s got a hell of a lot of talent, then figured he could relax and just take whatever jobs he wanted. Dude’s got his life down pat, and I respect the absolute shit out of him for that.

They should just cast one of the many, many Indian actors in their thirties that you’ve already identified, then have them opposite Reshma Shetty.

“Baseball is the only sport where the leagues play under different rules,”

Rounders had fuck-all to do with it. It was the hole card cameras combined with ESPN looking for cheap programming in 2003 deciding to make WSOP a seven episode series (rather than just a one hour final table recap like they had done for awhile) and lucking into the story of an online amateur with a great name -
