He’s in the wrong sport, should have been a fighter with dodges like that.

well his shoe is also a phone so there’s that.

That is a thing of sheer beauty. Look at the hang time!

We’ve sold out every game this season. And when there weren’t enough seats for the playoffs:

New phone, who dis? - Rest of Sens Roster

It’s only interesting when the usuals make it to the Final? You have a pretty boring outlook IMO.

The center fielder is supposed to be the leader out there, so if both call for it, it’s supposed to be his ball. (Unless there is a runner who will be tagging up on the play, and the corner outfielder has a better chance at making the throw, either due to arm strength, or being left/right handed, depending on where

My NHL team didn’t even make the playoffs and I’ve been loving every round this postseason. But go on about how nobody outside of the 2 fanbases will care about the Stanley Cup Final.

Pens aren’t a “great team” is the hottest take this side of Stephen A. Smith.

Your argument is flawed because it’s based on a regular season in which the Preds were riddled with injuries and took time to gel around Subban. Now that they have, they’re terrifying. They ran the Blues and Blackhawks off the ice.

Then why the fuck are you not only reading Dirt Bag, the daily gossip column, but trolling the comments? Seems like you should have better thing to do, but here you are.

I’m sure that this episode was probably filmed before 5pm ET last night. Drawing a parallel like that, in this situation, to insult someone or make them seem petty is pretty fucked up.

Rinne also spent the better part of two years recovering from injury (first a hip problem that required surgery, then an infection in the site that required another procedure). This past season has been Rinne’s first fully healthy season in the last three.

I mean isn’t that kind of the point trying to have parity? That way every game is good. Watching the lead up to the NBA finals has been boring as fuck given that it was basically predetermined.

That’s not really fair. As goddamn stupid as this is, it was taped before Manchester. It’s not like Katy interrupted a live broadcast of the events last night to be all “but wait, my dancers.”

I dunno why but the Ducks always seem to have the highest number of eminently unlikable dudes on the roster.

So Peter Laviolette has no won a Stanley Cup with Carolina, took an 8th seeded Flyers team to the Stanley Cup (after becoming the first team to over a 3-0 series deficit versus Boston), and has now guided the Predators to the Stanley Cup when they were the 2nd Wild Card team (finished 4th in the conference in points).

Kind of unfair to Rinne to say that his numbers were “never there.” Dude has been a Vezina finalist 3 times, the last time being as recently as 2015. A couple of average seasons in there were due to a hip injury. He was consistently good this year on a team that gave up a shitload of high-quality chances against.

I forgot he also had a great individual season in 2010-11 (ie. right before this contract).

Rinne’s contract has to be viewed in the proper context - he was a big part of that Predators team, and up for free agency the same year as Ryan Suter and Shea Weber who they’d just taken to arbitration (and had their asses handed to them by the arbitrator).
