The app should appear in your "Downloaded Items" list regardless of whether you have downloaded it previously.

@pj_rage: You don't. I'm having a hard time trying to find a use for my iPad. I have a Nexus One which can do everything the iPad can do minus the massive screen.

Call me old fashioned, but I'm not a big fan of Apple's method of switching windows. I hate the App tray at the bottom of the screen that pushes everything else off.

I wish I had the balls to put my life on the line for someone else.
