From what I saw of the inauguration (not much) Obama and Tiffany seemed to be the only people smiling.

Everything about public Trump is a display of fear, confusion, contempt, and anger. It would surprise me 0% to learn that this is also how his private life is lived.

i don’t think Melania fucks him outside of what’s specified in her contract. Despite all his bullshit pussygrabbing act, I don’t think he cares mostly. He’s 70 years old and in terrible shape. He probably needs a fistful of viagra and an industrial crane to achieve even a modest boner.

I think they’re informally separated. She basically vanished between the election and now, and every time he touches her in public she looks annoyed. And the thing about her not moving so Barron doesn’t have to change schools is lame. She just doesn’t want to live with him, and who can blame her?

Just in case anyone feels like crying even more, I highly recommend the linked NYT Magazine story about the letters people wrote to Obama. It’s a beautiful, heartbreaking piece.

The Trumps will never be able to perform any shade, because shade requires the ability to read deeply and connect dots. Shade is semiotics. Not a single member of that family possesses the subtlety, attention to detail, or nuance to truly understand shade, much less throw it.

Thank you for the ruling on the Springsteen concert. I’ve wondered all week about exactly how that played out, either way it was the perfect mic drop of shade as he walked out the door.
