This album is soooo underrated. Oh, sorry, “EP”.

Now playing

Heh, I almost posted this song in my comment. Fabulous song. I love his “great” Christmas songs, but oh man do I love the “weird” ones too.

I thought that was a fun, happy song until I stopped and actually listened to the lyrics one day. Man, is that song a gut punch. The following lines always kill me:

Related tangent: I hate Christmas music, but I loooove his Christmas albums. I only keep them in my music library from Thanksgiving to New Years though. It actually gives me something to look forward to for the holidays.

Ahh, “The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out to Get Us!” is such a beautiful song.

Seriously? No only responded with this yet!?

Not a fun day for Minnesota Gopher sports...

That’s kind of a callback within a callback, isn’t it?

I can see where you’re coming from, but though Age Of Adz is my favorite, Carrie & Lowell is his best.

I’d heard something similar, which is one of the reasons I wanted to check. Curious if it was more misinformed or just straight up wrong.

Were either of his last few Netflix specials good? Honest question as I haven’t heard much about them.

Haha, sorry, I was referring to the book.

I tried to read that once, but just couldn’t adjust to the weird accent or whatever it’s written in.

While I liked the book better, I agree that Coppola expertly made that movie from the book. The way I always describe it is it follows the main plot almost exactly, but trims off all the (sometimes random, like vagina tightening surgeries) side plots.

The Body/Stand By Me is kind of a wash, but I couldn’t disagree more about the movie ending of The Mist. That ruined the entire movie for me.

I definitely disagree. The book was waaaay more fun. I also got killed on some other post for saying Matt Damon wasn’t the right actor for the role.

The movie was okay, but there isn’t a single mention about “pirate-ninjas” in it. Nuff said. Also, look! a pair of boobs! -> (.Y.)

Catch-22 is probably my favorite book, but I just couldn’t watch the movie. Honestly, I didn’t much of a chance. As soon as I saw Garfunkel as Nately, I turned it off.

I’ll admit that when I re-read LotR (twice), I skipped every poem and song.

The only one I can really think of is The Shawshank Redemption. The book is alright, but it’s really cut and dry. The movie had so much more... heart, I guess?

who looks conspicuously like a cross between the villain in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the villain in Raiders of the Lost Ark
