Again, I state this here. I would pay a monthly fee for a carebear server.

I can say from past experience that Eve is a daunting game to get into the sandbox experience is what I feel throws a lot of new players off. The problem I find is the solo experience, new people don’t always want to join a corp right at the beginning they want to do some things on their own and then maybe think about…
Exactly. The system is constructed in a way that only benefits those who already have massive amounts of power, kind of like capitalism.
Learning curve and Loss are the smallest issue facing new players in EVE. They’re almost meaningless in their impact.
God, can we all stop fucking pretending that this is even remotely about the “70/30 status quo”? It’s about on-boarding new customers by making it literally impossible to find games they want on any storefront other than Epic’s. That’s all there is to it. This stuff about Epic having high-minded motives about giving…
LOL, let’s be real, even if steam change the cut they take Epic will still do exclusive. The discord storefront offer a better cut than epic. We won’t see a reduction in game prices either. Right now Epic does a whole lots of sales to garner customers but once they are in a good place this will stop.
Or Sweden, for that matter.
Still, this is yet another example of how shit steam reviews are and that 95% of the time they don’t show the actual quality of the game.
Thank you Google for letting me know a Blue Whale weighs 300,000 lbs and thank you Wikipedia for knowing a cement truck can carry 40,000 lbs.
Well, you still don’t actually own the game. If GOG goes out of business for any reason, you’re left with nothing unless you made backups.
To be fair, Orwell’s Big Brother wouldn’t really want that. But Huxley’s Mustapha Mond would!
*drinks butthurt fanboy tears*
Last Jedi is the third best Star Wars Movie after Empire and Rogue One and anyone who disagrees can go straight to hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars.
its sad that capitalism here seems to only help the developer and offers nothing better or cheaper for the customer. perhaps then ppl wouldnt gripe so much.
This is an excellent summation of the problem. Thank you.
I think sluggishly trudging around the story hub did more to ruin my impression of the game more than anything. (But also the hilarious decision to make players face several loading screen before they’re able to check what loot they picked up.)
i almost would have preferred if tarsis was just a series of menus instead of a 3d space. but there are many other problems indeed. i basically finished the campaign, then division 2 came out. i do hope anthem is a better game down the road, i intend to at least finish the campaign eventually.
I appreciate these kinds of discussion. Thank you, good sir. I hope for the best in this industry.
I’d be willing to give IP holders *perpetual* copyrights in exchange for three things:
they could easily be millionaires by now
