Mike, I’m with the Duck. Tells us a little about the game man!

I mean... I guess I could... download it.

And play it myself.

But that would take like... prolly 10 seconds of downloading. Then I got to like... OPEN the application!

Let’s not even get into all the energy required to actually PLAY the game.

No. It’s much

Aw. Here’s a star for being one heck of a duck.

Oh! Oh! Or like, Air Warriors! On AOL Games! Oh man... you’re just now seeing War Thunder start to implement the global combat like mechanics you saw in this persistent gem.

At least, if memory serves me right. Which it probably doesn’t. But Imma live the dream of what was anyways.

I just finished posting about this to some mates.

I was like, “Didn’t we talk about this already? Why are we...”

You had me at “ponderous”.

I liked the article. You have a very valid point, and I typically stand 100% behind it but... this was light, fun, and it sorta informed me on what was going on in these big titles that I usually don’t get around to (I’m more an indy scene guy).

I don’t think we’re trying to be serious here.

As others mention, its a

I really love these. I hope you do a few more of these periodically. I haven’t played any of these big titles and it not only gives me a feel of what is going on in them, it makes me want to try some of these statement out in a convo and see how well I can fake my way through.

Thanks, Kirk.

I’ve jumped in for, gosh, 100 hours or so the last month or two and... well... I’ll just say that space is... BIG.

But if you’ve already got a fast ship, even if she doesn’t look like much, you could probably do 12 parsecs in a short amount of time.

It’s a bit like DayZ for me in that, its a lot of mundane punctuated by

That may be. I don’t know him personally and intimately like you seem to, but, lets also consider that THAT is a slightly different sport. One in which the mechanical prowess of your team is considered part of the deal.

As far as I’m aware, each eSports team doesn’t have a crew of IT “mechanics” working on their gear,

You should. It might be eye opening.

I can not begrudge you that this is one concept of a “winning” mentality, but I’d posit that there are those who do not derive satisfaction from an unearned victory.

Killing an opponent frozen due to technical issues, which is apparent to you, is outside this players code of honor, and apparently the code of honor of

You know... this is why we can’t have nice things... right?

I think it’s ok to hold the jerk responsible for his actions, and lament that we couldn’t behave ourselves as an audience.

Now playing

Ethan! Please put War Thunder on your radar for April Fools. Gaijin’s April Fool’s Day “pranks” are an event I look for ALL year. WHY!?! Because, they don’t just say, “Helicopters in War Thunder... PSYCH!”

No... they ACTUALLY PUT Helicopters in War Thunder for a few days.

I agree with you. Presentation is key. For that reason, I was actually excited about the prospect of the voice over as an alternative presentation. Imagining the possibility of it as a voice over narrative that accompanies you while on the quest felt like an interesting way to fill the holes in the travel time

Good, because this sounds absolutely amazing. What a great way to get the lore out to people who aren’t into reading at their desktop.

;) o7 A real vet. Well, “old timer” (I say in warm jest), it’s pretty rough for us green upstarts. But most particularly for those of us that like to dabble in a bit of everything. Lots and lots of skills to queue up, and a pretty good timer on most all of them.

Oh sure, you could get a destroyer going in a bit

I sub. It’s cheaper. I’ve purchased plex pretty exclusively for trade in skill injectors. I haven’t been playing long (about 6 months) and “Leveling” in Eve is... not exactly something I’m a fan of, but I’m curious to see what the game has to offer, and it seems that doing it the “old fashioned” way means it’d

That may have changed since you played. Nowaday (at least, right immediately now, as I’ve bought a few plex recently), it goes into your “Redeem” tab, and you don’t have to pull it out of there until you’re good and ready. So, you can fly around with it unredeemed, wait til you get where you want, then sell it

It’s gotten a LOT better but, it still needs to get better-er. I jumped in about 2 months before it went free to play(try) and it was not intuitive at all. Luckily I had mates holding my hand, and I don’t think I finally got around to setting up jump clones until a couple of months ago.

Even then, its like, a million
