I mean, there’s her social media posts, which are beyond bizarre, not just the videos but the weird incoherent rants, and the fact that her teenage sons refuse to see her and the oldest even did an interview where he publicly begged her to respect their privacy... I think it’s enough to make an educated guess. I agree

Britney’s not well. And my guess is she’s gone off her meds since the conservatorship ended. I think it’s just a matter of time before she has another mental health crisis, if she hasn’t already, which would explain the absence and the coherent, emoji-less post that was clearly written by her team since it’s

I can see this angle, too.

If Brittany wants to be left alone, shouldn’t it just be as simple as leaving social media? I mean, she doesn’t have a commercial reason for being on there that I am aware of - no new album or Vegas gigs to promote. No record company with a deal mandating “12 quality posts a week” or anything gross like that.

There’s also a corporate “ladies would be so much prettier if they just smiled” vibe about this, that I really, really hate.

I was thinking something more like the new manager felt the need to follow the “rule” to the letter for fear of being fired (and then being without their own dental/health care). Same root cause though: it was Capitalism all along.

Bad PR: the only thing that will make corporations even gesture in the direction of doing the right thing

I had to look up what a Brooklyn Beckham is. I wish I hadn’t.

“Peltz, whom her dad describes as a “world-famous actress,”“

I remember when the inferior David and Victoria (way way behind the great David Mitchell and Victoria Coren-Mitchell) had this kid, and all the tabloids were laughing at his dumb name. And obviously he was going to get multiple leg-ups into the A-list from having famous parents. But I didn’t realise, twenty-odd years

It was exhausting just spending a couple minutes reading the article about that family, I cannot imagine interacting with any of them.

Peltz, whom her dad describes as a “world-famous actress,”

Sounds like they showed remarkable restraint in limiting themselves to just the one tequila after dealing with this family.

I don’t think that’s a fair reading of what he said.

Yeah, I don’t know why it’s so hard not to run off at the mouth about this stuff. I get that it’s not fair to be asked. Honestly if someone asked me about the rape allegations of someone I used to work with years ago I’d be like wtf why are you asking me? But it’s easy enough to just be like “I have no idea what

“Ultimately, I can’t know,” Kutcher tells Esquire’s Madison Vain about his thoughts on Masterson’s charges. “I’m not the judge. I’m not the jury. I’m not the DA. I’m not the victim. And I’m not the accused. And so, in that case, I don’t have a space to comment... I just don’t know.”

Kutcher saying “I don’t have a space to comment” and then commenting that he hopes the verdict is innocent is a miss for me.

I’m sorry, how does she seem well adjusted? Don’t get me wrong, the conservatorship was bullshit and her dad abused his power but that doesn’t change the fact that this is not someone who’s well and both she and her defenders seems to be in denial about that.

That’s sweet, Channing. Did you think you had a choice when the Internet exists? Also, you made three movies about dry humping horny women. They were going to know something they didn’t want to eventually.

I don’t think that fans are thinking they “own her”, I think it’s more that it’s soooo easy to go down crazy conspiracy rabbit holes and believe that anything is true if you see it enough. They don’t care so much about her as they care about being right and solving the puzzle.
