No, it’s not. He definitely obstructed justice, and the Trump Tower meeting should have netted Don Jr. in jail, but what has really changed? We won the House and have a good chance of winning in 2020.

I like hearing him expound on this. He’s thoughtful, clearly intelligent, and showing that this wasn’t premeditated is proof of that. Giving the asshole a chance is remarkable, and I don’t think I, for one, could have done that in his position.

I don’t have a problem with it, but he is completely tone deaf to be bragging about how his daughter got in on her own merits.  I mean she may very well be qualified, but when you have $70 million backing your application, it is hard to claim that you “got in on your own.”
