I enjoyed these last few episodes immensely, but can someone explain to me what the point of the memory wipe was? I don't get it. He was saying he had to wipe Clara's memory because … that would keep her safe from other Time Lords hunting her down, using her as a bargaining chip and sticking her back into her death

With Oliver, though, his post-island lies have basically been to protect his secret identity, his loved ones and to create a convincing turn to the dark side … to protect his loved ones. Digglety was totally overreacting to that too, but there's a difference between an untrustworthy boyfriend who's been caught

Felicity's behavior was out of character and extremely obnoxious. And of course the solution to this problem is not to give the guy a break and get the fuck over it cause it's a big deal that takes an emotional toll, but to keep it a secret that will give her similar dramatic posturing that's considerably more

Didn't we see that when Sisko died last season? I knew right away they were just gonna hit the undo button. It was cheap as hell. At least with this episode, we can see how cool it is to see everyone turn into fiery embers without caring that they're all dead for 2 seconds.

Feminism is an adult issue that can be addressed on a teen/young adult show, but is going to go over heads if you're expecting children to pick up on gender politics on a superhero show. Not long ago, I read about someone whose kid watches the show but only when she's in the costume, then goes back to coloring.

As on point as it was, I don't think one throwaway line is a sign of cohesion.

Wow, you're all over the place. Know who also never wears pants? Kara. Way to go losing all credibility by claiming there are no female fans of Buffy. Good job.

I don't know what reviews you've read, but I was hooked on Person of Interest from episode 1. The mystery of the characters and how they developed over time more than compensated for any routineness felt in the procedural aspect of the show.

If you watch it, you are entitled to the internet discussion of it. Period.

They really nerfed her powers in this version. I mean, if you look closely a couple episodes ago, she has a shaving cut on her leg.

Worst episode so far. I am sick of Kara's insecurity issues. I'm all for feminism, but it's very clumsy how they use that as a theme and it even occasionally wanders into misandry (only men get road rage?).

Yeah, it's as if they think Earth 2 Eobard went back in time and did the same exact thing. Earth 1 Wells was a good person.

I wish they started the episode with Zoom crippling Barry instead of making us wait for the extremely predictable "X hours earlier" trope. At least then we wouldn't have to sit through a whole episode of Barry in a wheelchair while the others try and fail to fight metahumans without him, only for him to MacGuffin a

The only thing that bothered me more than Hiro losing his powers AGAIN (that's at least the 4th time) is how bad the writers are at giving the characters their own voice. Noah used the same butterfly metaphor as Hiro and also said, "My bad," in this.

"This is a common issue for mythology-driven shows: they have to find a
balance between intrinsic motivation and the external goal of finishing
the story."
Someone please tell this to Damon Lindelof.

It helps if you don't view Drogo as a rapist but a product of his culture. At that point, neither of them knew any better.

The Jaime/Cersei scene in the show depicts everything from the book text as it is at the start of this article, pounding on his chest and all. They just didn't get to the part where it was/became consensual. If it's true that the director didn't intend it to come off that way, they only have themselves to blame for
