right up until you realize that right behind the register is usually where the fries are located or where the unfinished orders are.
Yes. You would likely stand up on someone’s desk, drop trou, squat down and drop a steaming pile and very likely be charged with a misdemeanor because someone used the shorthand for “terminate.”
Why not watch it and form your own opinion?
It’s a pilot. Pilot episodes are notorious for being bad. Giving up on a show based just on the pilot makes no sense. Heck, there are beloved classic shows that had mediocre-to-bad entire first seasons.
Geez, it’s Lifehacker; a real gun in a photo would send them into convulsive fits... hell, I’m honestly surprised they weren’t “triggered” by the fake gun.
Well the only reason these conversations would be playing is that the owner off the home has set Alexa to away mode and are not at home, so burglars might use it as a way to confirm that nobody is home. Not only that, if these burglars have the audacity to actually learn the conversation script and length of each…
To the people talking about orange tips—in the US pellet guns do not have those. Airsoft, yes, but not pellet guns. I have a replica S&W M&P 45 pellet gun that is virtually indistinguishable at a glance.
It’s a neat trick, but what makes people think that career burglars won’t quickly become familiar with these conversations and use them as a means of acquiring targets?
Are those gardening gloves?
I don’t think it’s a movie prop. If it’s a blank firing prop, it would need a working ejection port and extractor. If it’s a non-firing prop, then the steel barrel liner would not be there.
I actually did zoom in. Ejection port is an obvious fake, and the extractor is missing. As for the orange tip, that’s not required in all countries, and even in the US, it’s relatively easy to remove.
Could be a movie prop, but the area around the ejection port certainly doesn’t look real. (Even if it was he’d still be way under-gunned if he came inside my house...)
James Bond would never wear a windbreaker and gloves together.
In England, a kitchen cutlery set counts as a “dangerous arsenal of lethal weapons”.
In England, that plus the crowbar constitute a “dangerous arsenal of lethal weapons.”
Why is the burglar in the stock picture breaking in with an obvious airsoft/bb gun?
It does lack nuance, but these men weren’t simply fired for what they did, it’s that they did this on company time, to company employees, with company money (most of them, anyway). Also, nobody is saying they can never, ever work again. It’s that Matt Damon is already eager to see Louis CK, a serial masturbator who…
You’re not wrong, and the impulse to just listen is all anyone is asking, I think. We can all have an opinion, but for a straight guy to take all these stories in and immediately think “ok, now I’m going to tell everyone who we should let back in and what behaviors are cool and what aren’t and here Sexual Assaulter A…
