As much as I hate Terry for personal reasons - all I wanted was the scroll containing the secrets of the Hakkyokuseiken - they had me at Garou

In true Luke Plunkett fashion, I’m gonna rank your 10 GOTY picks in order of which provides the best sneakerhead experience.

Every time I hear or read the words “game soundtrack” I immediately think of Persona 5. The music is such an intrinsical part of that game’s experience. Even my mom, who hates game music, hummed to a couple of tunes as I was playing. I put over 100 hours on that game and I sang along the battle theme every single

Thanks for reading and don’t apologize, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts! =)

Always exciting to see new articles from you Peter Tieryas, in particular when they are about games I know well - and in this case we can disagree:)

Pete, did no one show up for work today? You are killin’ it with all these articles. In terms of SF2, let’s be honest, Vega’s stage music was the best here. Every newer version of the game ruined it. It was so noticeable during the attract demo scenes when I was walking around arcades back in the day.

As a fighting game I think SF5 is solid enough, I prefer it mechanically over 4, but I’m old and bad at games so...

A couple of local stores by me have had Shenmue 3 in stock as of Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn’t bite but I am genuinely curious how people feel about that one. It very much just looks like a game geared for Shenmue fans and no one else.

God i love how much DRAGON BALL is back baby!

The nerve of some people:

Black Friday can't come soon enough.  Grabbing this, Control and some other game during Target's BF sale.

Before Fire Emblem came out, I honestly thought it was going to be a real slow summer waiting for Link’s Awakening. Then Three Houses got all the praise, and in reading about it I remembered how much I loved that franchise’s Awakening, and now I’m 50 hours deep. Then your preview of this game suddenly thrust it into

THIS

Still playing Fire Emblem (first playthrough) and hoping I can get through with it before Friday! I assume I’m close since my characters are transitioning to Master classes and I’m about 35 hours in, but who knows!

Still playing Fire Emblem (second playthrough), this week is Control, Knights and Bikes, Wilmot’s Warehouse, Astral Chain, Heave Ho, that remaster of Catherine and possibly Decay of Logos if new reviews are positive.

The games industry is really putting me in a bind by releasing Daemon X Machina, Borderlands 3, and Astral Chain so close together. I don’t think there have been three games that I’m actually looking forward to in a year before. These are in a span of 2 weeks.
