lol yeah. I was so surprised by XIII-2's review and the general feel good vibe about it.

Exactly. The character development and the underlying reasons for their personalities made the story really amazing and complex. Yeah, Vanille at first I couldn't help making fun at, but soon after her introduction, I knew there was something going on and that perhaps this was only skin deep. Hope's breakthrough…
One, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten (the best), Xi, XIII, Crisis Core, Advent Children...all amazing =D.
35 here. Played every Final Fantasy since 1. 6 is the first one (3 over here) that showed me how amazing a game could be, music included. There is no other franchise that I enjoy as much as a Final Fantasy game. Even though I started gaming with older stuff, such as the Magnavox Odyssey and the Ataris, it is Final F
all you needed to do was read the datalog and follow the in-game cutscenes, and you knew everything you needed to know from the story.
Shinta, I am so glad you are a commenter here. Whenever I feel guilty because I do not have enough time to join the voice of gamers that are upset by unfair and exaggerated criticism that the Final Fantasy franchise (and jrpgs as a whole) has endured for the past couple of years, it’s good to find your posts…
Agree that ff8 was a great emotional game. However, I'm surprised you feel FFX didn't evoke the same emotional response. If anything, I found that X was an even darker entry that really made you feel for the fate of the characters, and Spira in general.
The tone of this article would've been *so* different, if written by Brian Ashcraft. Good to have some informative FF post, for a change.
perception is really everything! I'd give it around an 89 because I really enjoyed the story a lot, and in the end that saved it for me. Not to mention those amazing graphics that hardly anybody else can really nail.
Charlize Theron! <3
this is quite hot.
are you feeling a little peculiar?
Thanks, man. That's exactly what I meant.
Actually, it has not been proven to be based strictly on social factors and/or environment. That's what bigots and religious zealots would want people to believe. And it is definitely *not* a choice. Proud as I may be of who I am, I would have *never* chosen to be gay. Being a disappointment to parents, friends…
Guess who's really excited over this release? Granted, I'd prefer playing new iterations of Final Fantasy, or for Versus to be released. But there simply is no FF I love more than X. This gives me a reason to play it yet, again! Ah well.
Not really. Mass Effect 2's storyline: pick up party members in constrained environments, to head for the final battle.
Lost Odyssey was amazing. I had it for years, and because of time constraints, I only finished it last week, with all of my characters at level 99. I really feel like I enjoyed that game to the fullest. And I did cry. Quite a bit.
I loved Mass Effect 1. One of my favorite games ever. Gave me chills, thrills, and the rest. It seemed to good to be true.
Pretty good analysis. In this type of game, everything you've mentioned does affect the ambiance and atmosphere; and these are two qualities that are intrinsic for a zombie game.
"Mass Effect 1 is one of the BEST rpgs ever"
