Why didn’t she simply walk out? Why did she blow him? This is clearly a consensual sexual encounter she later regretted. “I didn’t really want to do it, but I did anyway” is not sexual misconduct.
I had a Norwegian housemate back in Australia, and my question was “why would you come here?”. He stared into the middle distance for a full minute before shrugging and saying “beaches?”
I would like to voice support for a daily dose of Marzipan or Henri in Barf Bag comments( when your sched allows, of course ). Cute doggos are much needed to calm & soothe us & lower dangerous levels of blood pressure.
Those lyrics are fine. It’s a pop song, ffs.
I think the offer of 40% was fair and I’m kind of surprised they didn’t take it. Aside from the first minute, the songs are completely different. She intentionally or unintentionally cribbed the first verse or two, sure, but what makes Creep so memorable is really the chorus and especially the bridge.
None of these songs are in a minor key
My favorite fact about Creep is that Prince covered it at Coachella and it was uploaded to Youtube, then as he notoriously did, Prince had the video removed, and Radiohead stepped in and requested that it be put back up because it was their song.

When I saw “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the entire theatre groaned when Colin Farrell morphed into Johnny Depp. It was disappointing and has made me question whether to continue with the series.
And now we know why Bryan Singer is “taking care of an ailing parent”!
This reinforces the concept that regardless of how talented or intelligent a woman is, we’ll mainly judge her based on her looks.
Is there a reason to hate her other than that she’s just... bland?
That was one of my many complaints of the review too. Jamie was never presented as a “farm boy” he was the grandson of two important clan leaders, laird of his own stretch of land and pretty well traveled and educated for the time and had served as a mercenary in France. He’s reasonably high born and raised with a…
Can you not just have an opinion without first needing to verify that others agree with you?
I thought he was perfect for Jim.
A show with three strong female characters and you still find a reason to complain that it’s sexist.
Did you read the New Yorker article? She’s a career professional Israeli spy and muckraker, she posed as a women’s rights advocate and met with Rose many times, often secretly recording her and managed to get her hands on half of the manuscript for her upcoming book. This ‘cool girl’ was emailing Rose in her pretend…
