In the past I bought several HDMI cables through Amazon for $6 each IIRC. Some time later, I needed a couple more and the local electronics store had them on clearance for $1. Most of the other stores such as Worst Buy, Short Circuit City, etc wanted $40 or more for a basic HDMI cable.
