He should strap some dynamite to his xbox and let it blow up his console while he's still in game, that would be epic. I bet MS would even send him a new one.
Why would you ever want to play that?
Looks like Org now has an exit to Azshara as well, that'll be nice for the new content coming.
@GohanEgret: Wow, figured it'd be more than that, even though it's still a huge number.
@Thwick: Another MMO-like feature: it seems that each of these players has a class above their name, but maybe it's a title, I'm not sure.
Jeez, the more I read about the multiplayer they are putting together for this, the more it comes across like an MMO on a console. You've got freeworld open roam with other players where you can do just about anything and everything, you can group up into posses, you can go into certain game mode instances (PVP and…
@AncientUnknown1: I think the exploits and balanced matchups would go a long way. There are a lot of glitches and cheesy substitutions that can be used to create mismatches. The thing I hate the most is that people only play as about 5-6 different teams online.
I don't remember too much about the manuals, but the cloth maps from Everquest and Everquest: Ruins of Kunark were awesome additions and they actually helped back in the day before Thottbot, Allakhazam's, and WowHead type websites became prevalent.
@Praetor: I loved all the descriptions of the various factions for the humans and clans for the orcs. It definitely gave the game the feel of a huge game world even though it was only a color change for the units.
@Thwick: Also, let's hope they fixed the inherent engine problems with speed and pursuit angles. In NCAA 09 you could take a guy with 95+ speed and 95+ acceleration (not hard to find a guy like this) and actually run circles around the defense, or fish tail back and forth across a section of field and just use that…
Wow, some crappy sound levels at different parts of this game
They look great, can't believe you put the time in here. From what I can tell, a lot of it is 2k's lack of depth and perspective. On some of these the batters are so tiny or placed way too far from the pitcher. I wonder if that is to help with the reaction time for gamers.
Yeah, there were some long load times, but this was an epic theme that definitely got me amped for the next map.
@kibles: Yup, love it. The ochestral version is top-notch.
@azzygoh: This definitely. My buddy used to whistle it in high school. We were also big fans of Gerudo Valley
@Elpon: That's what I thought as well.
Is that picture on the top of the article from Bad Company 2 or MW2?
There is no way there should be "Mapathy" already. The game's been out since November, there are 16 maps at launch which is a ton, but they rarely cycle through and instead you end up playing the same map 3-4 times out of 10. Some are pretty well put together, a lot are boring.
@Thwick: Oh, i remembered another thing. On all-Madden, I can take my defensive end and move him to the other side (stack the side opposite from him) and rush the QB fairly untouched without any complication of them going the side I moved the guy from. Ended up with 86 sacks in one season on All-Madden, with some…
