@Daniel Hinkles: I have to agree with you. EA has done an amazing job with the FIFA and NHL franchises, but they get little love outside of sports awards. Like you, either Madden or MW2 is constantly in my machine unless I am burning through a singleplayer game like the ones in the above vote.

I voted Assassin's Creed 2. Of the three it was the only one I played, as I only have a PC, 360, Wii, and DS. There were some great games this year, but I think AC2 was the best one I played. Entertaining story, fun gameplay, some annoyances, but all games have those.

I've only heard great things about the game and I'm sure it's amazing.

@Chron4no: What they need to fix is the fact that on all-madden i can with 70+ to 10 by just doing a screen pass on offense and moving my d-end to the other side of the line to blitz. DE had 54 sacks at the end of the year, and perfect season. The AI is pretty shitty.

@Civ2boss: You're right, technically the first decade of the modern era was year 1-10 as there is no zero year, it just goes from 1bc to 1 ad. So yes, this decade should be 2001-2010 but that's too difficult to comprehend.

It's wonderful that it is helping out educationally. Gameplay-wise, it's too bad that 60-75% of all those words are absolutely worthless in terms of solving the puzzles, nor do the items/animals/people/professions perform their appropriate as one would tend to believe.

I actually do this currently. Although my TV has DLNA so i can stream stuff through that if I don't want to use the Xbox360. To supplement, I purchased a HDTV antenna to watch football on saturday and sundays as well as regular network shows.

Do they have live shows that aren't on a Friday or Saturday night? I remember looking at the last run and I think they were all on either of those nights. I see the extended play kicks off on a Thursday, but there's no details regarding the Live Shows. I think that it would be great if they had one midweek Live…

With the size of the maps (going off of COD4) there is no need for 32. 9v9 is enough to make it feel like a large battle while still allowing people to go at it alone and sneak around the map. If MW2 featured huge, battlefield style maps with vehicles then I could see the point.

@Dragos83: It's not implicit. I watched the video first before reading the article and didn't even notice it actually until it was pointed out in the article. People are getting too bent out of shape over it. I don't think they realize that because they are up in arms over it, they are calling even more attention…

@IamNinja: I totally agree with you. Both the wii and ps3 have it. No reason not to include the newest build of internet explorer. I actually use the one on wii a decent amount.

5000 map pack codes is an awfully small amount.

Is it sad that for the Wii games coming out, I just went right to the Nintendo section and didn't bother looking at any of the other companies' offerings?
