Or mistaken for a secretary when you’re the professor.

I remember back in 1996 (I was 8) when Bill was up for reelection I said I wanted to be president someday. A boy in school told me, “girls can’t be president”. I went home and cried about it. My parents told me I could be anything I wanted but I think the damage was already done. I am so glad my daughter won't have to

I took my two year old niece with me to vote and I voted for Hillary. On the way to the library she sang “we get to vote! We get to vote!” And it was such an amazing experience (that also ended abruptly at the sight of toys haha)

I so agree with you on that last part. She is so used to getting attacked that she puts up a shield and comes across as inauthentic and even mean, but on those rare occasions where she lets her guard down like when she’s caught on a hot mike, she comes across as very likable. I understand why she is that way after

Hey, in 31 years, your daughter can be president. (She can succeed mine.) I teared up during the little into movie. She makes me proud to be an American.

She seems to be leaning in. Leaning in to the top of the ticket.

It’s why all this name-calling on both sides really pisses me off. On top of both of them being very similar, both of them are infinitely better than the only other viable option, so stop being assholes to each other and beat the guy who will round up Latinos in boxcars and bomb any country that makes the slightest

Well, her priorities are clearly in order. :P

Whenever I think of Hillary Clinton I think of this quote from an anonymous White House staffer during Bill Clinton’s presidency, as quoted in Newsweek. They asked him (I assume the staffer was a him, I don’t remember if they specified the gender) what he thought of the Clintons and he answered “Him? Meh. Her? I’d

I started this primary season as a Sanders supporter and now I’m pouring myself a nice big glass of wine. I'm enjoying the fact that my daughter is going to grow up in a world where a woman is a nominee for the presidency. A world where most likely Hillary Clintom will be president and she will be able to remember it.

I had tears of joy when she talked about how her mom was born the day that the 19th Amendment was ratified by congress. Goosebumps.

Please don’t blow this.

I weep for the Daily Show. People sometimes post links and I click thru, then blink at Trevor Noah for about 20 seconds before I am so bored I have to stop.

I too once thought I would be dressing my son in three piece suits, scarves and skinny jeans. But then I realized how fucking hard it is to put a button down on a chubby blob with no neck and it was back to tshirts and sweatpants like his momma
