Some of my friends are pretty crude with their farts/fart jokes, but even they would never let one rip in a restaurant. Context matters, folks. Think about where you are and who’s around you.

Reading this post, I would never have guessed that people would be flying to the comments to defend that fart. I clearly have much to learn about internet commenting.

The problem with using the mother’s surname as the children’s middle name(s) is that it often gets dropped/ignored, so the father’s surname still has more importance. Most people introduce themselves with only their first name and surname, while the middle name is just a small factoid that only a few people know about.

Ugh, that is terrible and yet not at all surprising. My friend had the same problem, but now that she’s healthy again apparently a coworker felt the need to tell her not to “let things slide too much” with her weight gain. ಠ_ಠ
