Isn't Nintendo already doing it with the WiiU eShop tho? They have a bunch of sales and promotions happening at all times.
Of course is not on a Steam level, but is very close IMHO.

I call the WiiU "The U" so I'll probably refer to the XBox ONE as "The One" lol
So the trend this next gen is colored boxes?
Not true. Activision calling the platform next gen when talking about dating Call of duty ghosts for it, or Ubisoft praising the console while EA was bashing it.
Cool, another article bashing / negative towards the WiiU and Nintendo. The third this week. Oh well.
No, the PS3 was a very powerful machine with no support and terrible marketing. If you think the WiiU is bad because is not as advanced as the PS4 or probably the next X-Box, take a look in all gaming history. NEVER the most powerful console was the winner of a generation.
Short memory much? The PS3 went through the same road seven years ago and no one calls it dead now. Hell! The 3DS experienced this LAST YEAR and look at it right now?
Yup.
Not true, Nintendo is making plenty of titles for the WiiU that are releasing this very year such as 3D Mario, Mario Kart U and Wind Waker HD.
Here is the true reason by Activision:
"We don’t have any news for the Wii U at this time, as we aren’t dating next generation platforms yet. Stay tuned."

Its funny, but knowing that the 3DS will get a proper dedicated app later this year does not surprise me to see that.
Its been already announced. It stated to come out later this year.
This is only the first update to adress the issue. There will be another one in Summer that will improve it even further.
With Sony Entertainment
Glad you liked bro. I was honestly not impressed but I'm glad someone did.
Nah... that's just regular Ono.
And they took 2 hours to show all "this"...
It was never stated to be in the first place. It was already confirmed for the PS3, 360 and PC since day 1.
I don't think it was that different though. On Nintendo's E32011 we've seen more about the Gamepad than what we've seen here with the DualShock 4. We also saw some tech demos (just like this presentation) and what the Gamepad could do.
Way for the invisible walls...
