But GM already announced in November of last year that Bolt production would be paused until 2022. By then, the factory will be halfway to building those money-making trucks.

Fucking adorable. I want to pat it on the head and give it a treat. What a happy little truck.

That’s not even the same vehicle.

IMHO, Here’s what people don’t get about this type of vehicle:

I can’t stand that guy. And the 2022 model is 100% new compared to that one.

Well actually you aren’t that far off! Coincidentally the third generation Toyota Carina (A60) shares a lot of parts with the fourth generation Corolla (E70) where the Charmant is based on. The Carina is slightly larger (wheelbase is 2500mm instead of 2400mm), so I guess it would indeed evolve into a Carizard!
And

I want to see what it looks like when it evolves into a Carizard.

That’s the tell isn’t it? lIt’s the classic “gonna stop you there bruh”

Actually, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see that it has dice.

The wheels are rediculous, but you know what gets me? THAT GIANT FREAKING WATER BOTTLE!

I’m not a fan of angry Jeep eyes, either. But a racist identifier?

angry jeep eyes are dumb. about 30% of the jeeps in my area have the angry eyes grill kit and punisher logos. it’s like playing “spot the racist!”

Where’s the Jalopnik coverage of this? This seems like bigger news.

He hates to see you go, but loves to watch you leave.

True, but where they are going is still hard with increasing amounts of competition.

delivery and commercial trucks that can be charge overnight and do not need long over the road range make sense. No need to wast gas idling when EV can work.

The First Model Year rule isn’t always hard and fast. For example, the new Toyota Venza is basically a re-skinned RAV-4 Hybrid, which itself has been around for a few years already. The drivetrain, frame and suspension are going to be solid. The only truly brand new items on the Venza are body and interior.

I think that’s a myth, or at best a general rule of thumb, not a rule. I’ve still got the Suzuki Swift GTibought new in 1989 - it’s first year of production. In all that time it’s stranded me once for unforeseen mechanical reasons - a $15 electrical connector went bad in 1999.

Every time we passed a 4door Wrangler my wife would comment on how cool they looked. Then we went on vacation and rented one, it took half a day for her to realize she does NOT want a Wrangler.

A luxury rental place may have C8 you could rent for a trial. While it may not be the same trim, you’d at least get a general feel for the layout to determine if MSPR hunting is even worth your time.
