That F-250 isn’t a turbo. My buddy had one, got 10 mpg and slower than a slug. All the disadvantages of a diesel with none of the advantages save one: longevity. Those will never die, as long as you keep throwing glow plugs in ‘em.

It looks like Lithium batteries should be kept no higher than 80% most of the time (I’ve seen Apple take a similar approach to battery management lately). It would make sense for EV owners to do that except when about to engage on a long road trip.

How is it a penalty box? The Bolt is larger and has more features. I owned both at the same time, and the Bolt is a smidge nicer because of tech and speed. The Volt is lower and Bolt is upright, personal preference there.
