Exactly. Something is always to blame, and it’s almost always a person.

Poor Maintenance: Person.
Too fast for conditions: Person.
Lightening Strike: This one probably isn’t a person.

God I want one so fucking bad. An AWD rally car with Toyota reliability?? Yes please. I probably can’t fit in one, though

I’ll be surprised if that Z is still here at the end of the day. Prices on those have really shot up and that one appears to be pretty clean.

That F-250 isn’t a turbo. My buddy had one, got 10 mpg and slower than a slug. All the disadvantages of a diesel with none of the advantages save one: longevity. Those will never die, as long as you keep throwing glow plugs in ‘em.

I’d be surprised if that Celica ends up going for less than 20. It seems like ever since the GR Yaris came out the prices of these Celicas has skyrocketed

Maybe it was the river what killed the calf.... hence the name.

These days, that’s almost expected.. but to some extent, this was always going to happen and there are benefits as well.. Most people upgrade their cars based on the lack of features it has compared to newer cars.. (ie: Adaptive Cruse control, infotainment systems that support newer features like voice control and

The problem was clearly illustrated where a dealer sold a used Tesla with ‘extra’ features that Tesla then *turned* off.

Holy crap, David Tracy is about to become the richest man in Michigan!

the .125 mile down club.  Sorry.

The mile down club!

The problem isn’t that they’re ripping off everybody else’s designs (well, it’s not just that...) It’s that they’re doing it so god-awful poorly. Christ, what person with functioning eyes and depth perception looks at any of the chinese knock-offs and doesn’t feel something kinda Cronenberg-ian’s going on. They’ve

Lincoln’s last offering in that segment was the long wheelbase Town Car Signature L which was last built in 2011. Limo companies were their biggest customers but I don’t know who else would want something that big, at least in a sedan. Maybe Uber drivers? Then again, maybe the limo companies moved on because there was

It looks like Lithium batteries should be kept no higher than 80% most of the time (I’ve seen Apple take a similar approach to battery management lately). It would make sense for EV owners to do that except when about to engage on a long road trip.

All of the replaced batteries will be recycled.

Yes, the new battery which provides 259 miles of range.

Then up to 259 miles with the new more energy dense battery.

Care to share what serious problems you’ve had? I’m considering a second-gen Volt.

The bright side: OMG so many cheap battery modules for us bubba engineers to play with. There’s going to be a boom in DIY powerwalls and janky EV conversions.

How is it a penalty box? The Bolt is larger and has more features. I owned both at the same time, and the Bolt is a smidge nicer because of tech and speed. The Volt is lower and Bolt is upright, personal preference there.
