Ditto. I dig the 2nd gen Corvair and I think this is about as nice as you’re going to find short of a Corsa.

I actually really like the 2nd gen Corvair. Uncommonly pretty car for GM in the 60s, particularly the 2 door. This one is in great condition with no questionable mods and holds some half-decent collectible value. NP.
I recall attending an auto show ca. 2000-ish, and trying to sit in three cars...
No, the suspect wasn’t cooperating and when they attempted to remove him from the car had reason to believe he was pulling a gun. That they found his gun on the passenger floor is consistent with that.
We reached out to Porsche for pricing and availability but didn’t hear back in time for publication.
Part of the problem is that as you get smaller, the battery gets smaller unless you’re willing to make that battery upwards of 60% of the vehicle weight. For the foreseeable future small EVs (say, smaller than the Leaf) are going to be limited to strictly city cars, at least until we see a significant increase in…
It’s largely engineered by BMW, though, and uses their drivetrains.
Since the BRZ and the GR86 are damn near identical, and Toyota had way more input on the design and engineering, I’m totally fine with it. Not the same situation.
Yeah, I think this was actually a pretty cool design. Unfortunately, this one has just enough mods to make you nervous without enough upside to actually win you over. Definite ND.
Some of us actually like roadsters, just sayin’
There are just SO MANY reasons why I’d pick this over the Supra. Admittedly, some of it comes from my inclination toward cruisers over screamers, but, seriously...
Yeah, Not Just Bikes is a VERY smart channel, one of my favorite YouTubers
Not every F-150 can tow a 10,000 lb trailer, either.
This is gonna take awhile, but I really love the idea of combining a Sonic-like drive-in with wireless charging available at all spots. Wireless charging is WAY more reliable and easy to maintain since there’s no mechanical parts. Build enough bays that it doesn’t matter if it’s ICE or EV parked in any given spot.
Yeah, but that’s hastened the adoption of auto-headlights on even fairly inexpensive models.
I’m gonna say if there’s nothing egregiously wrong being hidden here and we can take this at face value, it’s NP. But I’d want a really, really good inspection.
This would clearly not be a drop-in replacement for Air Force One, but it might be useful for the exec branch to have access to a supersonic transport. The president might use it occasionally, or the VP, or cabinet members.
Skeptical of that. Maybe in these first few years as manufacturers and technicians build experience with them, but they’re simpler devices and generally easier to work on than combustion vehicles. Most repairs will be simple component swaps.
This will be a huge hit. The facelift looks like a whole new generation, inside and out, and the Taco is still a little long in the tooth. I dig the idea of an “upgradable” engine, too.
EVs will only extend that tendency
