Poor Yemen. Not only are they caught in a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran — they gotta deal with this douchecanoe trying to sell them coffee?

I watched it when it was on TV — on NBC, I want to say? Or CBS? This was before Netflix, so my whole family watched it and we were hooked! Especially when the lions just kept coming back for more. Ahhh.
I saw them before I learned the story and tbh they seemed a little funny — but no longer!
I’m sorry to hear about Val. :(
Nope, I didn’t. Sorry!
Tori Spelling on Shannen Doherty: “I admire her so much.”
*Raises hand*
The rest of their interactions were ... interesting as well. From the Chicago Tribune:
It’s a pretty irresistible hook, isn’t it? Atlanta has a lot looser structure than Twin Peaks, and also more rooted in reality - somewhat - but it is a good show. I enjoy watching it.
Actually, I think the commenting culture (outside the obvious trolls) here on Jez (and formerly Gawker, RIP) is pretty decent. The signal-to-noise ratio is okay, anyway. I do wish people wouldn’t feed the trolls, but I understand that too. I am also bored at work.

Does he still have bad opinions on rape jokes or nah?
I think he looks like an older version of our beloved Pharma Bro, Martin Shkreli. I guess Chaffetz is Congressional Bro. (I initially typed Congross, which is fair.)
Something about him really chaffs me. I think it might be the rank political opportunism. Maybe the sheer waste of taxpayer dollars? The flipflopping because I guess while he obviously doesn’t think Latinos or Muslims matter, he does believe Republican-leaning white women probably have amnesia? What could it be?
She attributed the boo-boo to thinking “like a sorority girl”
She’s Elizabeth Olsen, before she escaped from her basement.
I get it. I grew up in a solidly Republican suburb outside a heavily Democratic city, and as high school (and then college) student who was interested in politics, I had mentors who tried to steer me towards Republican causes/volunteering opportunities. The implication was pretty clear — as a woman and as a minority,…
Maybe he pines for the sappier days when a man dressed as a tree would be the talk of the town for days — nay, years.
He should’ve twigged on to a better way to get his message across.
